CHEAP Watercolor Sketchbook ~ Unboxing+Review
In this video i don't talk much as its not a watercolor tutorial but a cheap watercolor sketchbook unboxing and review. I tried to punish this watercolor sketchbook to its limits by paddling up with washes. But then this thing stood and held its place as a watercolor paper. 200gsm A5 size which is quite compact and has 30 sheets (i will make use of 60 pages though). This is my first unboxing+review😊

That's a lovely idea. I usually avoid painting everyday because filling a large area is still daunting. This small sketchbook will hopefully make me paint everyday. Just out of curiosity how many years of painting did it take you to get so good?

Hello Niaz, I have a question for you. At this point in your work 2:11 it looks like you let it completely dry. You then start your medium values. I was following along doing the painting with you and when I reach the medium values, my paint just soaks right into the paper and looks like it dries instantly. Because of this I am not able to move the paint around on the paper and get those texture/value variations as the paint is just not wet looking like in yours. Are you re-wetting the paper for wet in wet, I thought I saw you with a spray bottle at some point? I'm using 140lb 100% cotton paper, although not very expensive paper, and I do live in a very dry environment. The mid-values is where I am having my biggest struggle lately, I can't get those variations and granulations of the paint that you get. Thank you again for your great videos.
