I used a previous generation of this system for a few years as a keyboard player. It worked amazing - just listening to my keys and the click track. bad in-ears are still far better than hearing damage. I used to hear the guitars and drums just acoustically and get the in-ears just loud enough to hear them over the guitars.

I got a tripod as opposed to a desk arm, and I made sure to always check my white balance and set my lights to a higher kelvin. For the DOF, that’s actually done artificially since my room is actually super small. I watched this video and used the tips in it to get that effect: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZu7lahvdp5oq9E

We, as band, bit the bullet and bought 4 of these, connected each with 3.5mm to 2 mono TRS cables to our sound interface for stereo image, and yes, we got panned guitars, we got stereo sounding, also works just fine when all 4 receivers is placed near each other, no interface and whatsoever. What I wonder now is, what's the antenna's size? I mean, I plan to make a small, closed rack system, and for that I need some sort of extension to front side of the rack. I saw some antenna extension kits with various antenna's, but this one has a smaller footprint, so how can I learn its commercial name, like, how can I google its plug type? :)
@ScottUhlMusic7 ай бұрын
I would be cautious using that many cheaper wireless all at once. These are not meant for a full band to all have iems and to be used with an antenna combiner. I would suggest upgrading for something like that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpqVe5aDpNKdh5Isi=7nMdcnLJY_ya51Fy

Pickles. Also, I do intend to check out that uber-cheap UHF system I sent you a link to from aliexpress. I wish someone like Lekato would come out with a UHF rig with incorporated headphone amp. I've used the WS-70(I think thats the one) into the Behringer headphone amp as a rehearsal system, and it was usable. Arguably not "awesome", but certainly usable for typical bar gigs. If someone were to come out with a dedicated IEM rig that was essentially that, even for the same cost as those two combined, they'd sell LOTS of them. Together, they total about $81.

@@ScottUhlMusic Cool, that's pretty much my thought as well, since the freq. range is so far off. My main reason for even considering the wireless in ear, is because I play to tracks, most of which I made myself, in a lodge of a hot springs. People love it when I go out to the pools, but it's hard to hear the tracks out there good enough to make sure I'm playing in time. With the door open, it's line of sight, but for what ever reason, near the door, the sound drops drastically.
