I’m an assistant manager at DT. It should be kept separate. We have an end cap where we put ours and there are strips that go under them that say the price. What MIGHT have happened was that someone who didn’t really stock usually could have put it there. I make sure I ALWAYS let people know when something is more and ask if they still want it. Also people don’t pay attention to the freezer plus section sometimes too. We ALWAYS ask! Sorry this happened to you!

There should be a section for JUST Bonus items NOT on end caps, thats not right. And ALL DT should get the same stuff, it shouldn't very per area, other states get cool stuff and Utah does not! Yes I have emailed the corp office several times and I get no response.

We have been feeding our dog a raw/whole people food type diet for years now. I would suggest sardines in oil along with 2 raw eggs. The oil in the sardines is very good and healthy for their coat. Just advice from what we have experienced. Good luck with it though. I think your dog will love it.

I got caught up in the candy scam awhile back and the cashier happened to tell me did you know those are 3.50.. I said no and told her I don't want them then. And I've been looking for the beautiful clear divided in 3 because I kept trying to figure out what I could use them for and once they run out I decided they would be perfect for individual types of tea bags. So beautiful to sort and display and keep it fresh!! Nice big Big haul! Thanks for your time and energy in your finds!! And the qtips are great idea I'm on the hunt now for them!!

Same at my store. There is no more "plus" aisle. It is all over the store mixed in. It started around Valentine's day with Valentine's stuff, a crew came in to reset our store, and now it's all throughout the store. I am actually avoiding the store some now because it's just not on brand and defeats the purpose of Dollar Tree.

I would recommend the sardines in water. Sardines are already an oily fish, adding in that extra oil is unnecessary. Dogs don't need that extra fat.

I found some nicer jar candles in the regular $1.25 section & was super impressed with them for that price. Wasn't until I got home that I saw on the receipt that it was $5! Apparently the price was on the bottom of the jar. They shouldn't have been mixed in with $1.25 candles!

The higher price candy is apart of dollar Tree plus sometimes boxs come mislabeled or it gets stocked accidentally, I would simply watch the items when they are wrang up.

Only water. Tuna in water as well. We do salmon and tuna in water but we don’t use sardines. We mix it with 1 cup of kibble though. We alternate days with chicken, tuna etc.

I spent about 100 tiday at Dat. The plastic stirage bins that fold flat ,also come in a smaller suze. No handle , but cute. If they go up to 1.75 ,I am done shopping there! The quality is just not there for that price!

I buy the gloves in the hardware auto section for gardening gloves. They hold up better. I love them. They come in a color that is easy to spot in the yard. I will say the others are cutier but so thin. I flower farm so I need a bit sturdier.

Great finds! I almost got played last month at one of my dollar trees on that jolly rancher jelly beans candy. I saw it ring up at the register and told him to take it off after him telling me it was $3.50. We have no plus stores here at all! That candy was on an end cap with small neutral colored strips that slid into the shelving and said $3.50 really small. They need a big ole sign or something since you're expecting everything to be $1.25! So sorry you got played at dollar tree 😢

DT Plus items are only $3 or $5. The new prices of regular merchandise are now $1.25 on up. EyeGlasses $1.50, Sunglasses $2.00, Coke/Pepsi bottles $1.75, Big bags of candy varies $3.25 +, cleaning products $2.25-3.25….scanners in stores now, so you can check prices

I almost gotten taken. I got an air freshener that wasn't in the plus scetion & it was more than a $1.25. Nowhere on the packaging did it say the price or no signs. I told the cashier I didn't want it. It took several minutes for a manager to come over to take it off. I always check my receipts before leaving the stores. I have had a DT store ring something up more than the quantity I got. If I don't notice it at the time they ring it up, & go back after I paid, they always tell me go pick something up in the store. It's a pain when it's not your fault.

Our DT has knock off of Olay regenerist cream cleanser, daily moisturizer, and night time moisturizer. Also a knock off Neutrogena hydro boost gel, and hand gel. All by the brand b.pure. just something to be on the lookout for. I've bought all the "olay" but have only used the cleanser so far. But I can honestly say I love the product and have been making a stock pile 😅

Yes you have to watch the DT they don’t have all of the items marked and they had a smaller bag of skittles than Walmart and it was $5!!! They are also going to raise prices again. A lot of places $1.75 for numerous items and ice $2. Going to get tough to shop there!

No oil in the sardines. Water is better. We also give our dogs salmon and salmon oil in their food. Not daily but a couple times a week. We have our dogs on Farmers Dog. It’s not raw but cooked food. Dry dog food dehydrates dogs terribly which causes health issues when they get older. It has added years to our oldest fur baby who turns 15 in October. She acts so much younger. We recommend Farmers Dog to everyone. It’s pricey but it keeps them out of the Vets office.

There a 4 DT's in the city I live in. All 4 can get viral items but usually each store has a different viral item. So therefore, I float around to all 4. You have to know when the truck comes in and get to know the pace of stocking by each individual store. It's like a math equation lol

Marie keep an eye out on prices at DT. I have seen people talk about prices increasing to $1.75 instead of $1.25. And also varying prices throughout the store, not just in the bonus section, and not marked. Some people have posted there's even price checkers now in their stores. I haven't seen this myself, but just be aware!

One vlogger showed her Dollar Tree with scanners to check prices since the prices now vary from $1.25 up to $5.00, some are $1.50, 1.75, etc. WTH is going on? Yes! My dog was diagnosed with early kidney failure, and some of the diets I came across called for sardines or mackerel. It was really hard to find in water with no salt at reasonable prices. With a dog that is healthy, it's probably still better to go low or no salt and no oil.

You shouldn't give him oil of any kind cause it will effect his bowels. Also sardines are very salty. You should start him on a cleaner fish like a white fish. I give one of our dogs salmon and peas and he's been doing great. He was a rescue and a mess. It really helped him all around.

For the sardines…. Check with your vet &/or look for a holistic vet to advise you. I feed my 15 year old rescue, a sardine two to three times a week & I feed the wild caught sardines in water. I can highly recommend those. But again, check with your vet, that is best.

I shopped at a DT that had self-checkouts the last time I was there. If you have self-checkouts at your store, that would be another way to prevent overpaying on some items since you would see it as you were scanning your items, and it also says the price out loud.

I think that is pretty sneaky...BAD! I would return them and complain. Have never seen the scented q-tips. Will have to try them🙂 My friends have a German Shepherd and have him on the raw meat diet. His skin and coat have drastically improved! He never scratches/ itches anymore!! Even I noticed his shiny coat! Like the new stickers.

Beautiful eye pallets! The food mist comes in about 5 colors but very difficult to find. I never thought to get the men’s no-show socks. Thanks for the idea. Cool straws!! Great for Easter. Sardines in a can are LOADED with salt. Salt is not good for dogs and can make them vomit. I would go for fresh.

If I was giving my dogs sardines I would definitely use the water packed. Make sure the canned are okay The sodium might be high. I feed my dogs canned tuna and canned salmon packed in water.

I had this happen. Was looking at the $1.25 candy - well most of it was. I got a couple of bunnies that when I got home and looked at my receipt - THE BUNNIES WERE $5.00. BLEW my budget. But the bunnies were good. So watch what you pick up. My DT is putting a lot of plus stuff by or in the $1.25. Not good.

That's what they are doing now. I talked with someone today, who travels all over to "open" areas of dollar tree. He opened our dollar tree plus section by me, he said you'll find higher priced items throughout the store now, mixed in with regular items. Which ours does now, I noticed it last week. He said they are basically becoming Family Dollar. 😢

I feed my dog he is a Chihuahua a half of boiled egg in the morning and canned chicken (I rinse the chicken because of salt) but it's packed in water at night. He still has dry dog food out and available when he wants. My vet says they still need the dry as well. Of course ck with your vet.

The sardine in water is perfect, I have used it, sometimes I’ve had difficulty finding it, so I recently ordered Native Pet omega oil just to have it available, also try chicken lover, heart and gizzards, they are really cheap in the meat section in the grocery store, I give them a quick boil and add it to his food.. I’m using Open Farm with my lab/golden retriever mix❤❤
