I have these and Ive had them for over a year. They are extremely good.. If you arent a dancer. Dont get them if you are a dancer because you will lose tracking most of the time. I have to recalibrate so much that its not even funny. I dont have issues with it breaking but its even worse when I lay down. The tracking will just drift so far from your legs.

Of course something like this comes out after buying 3 Vive Ultimate trackers! (I don't have base stations, don't plan to for a long while yet) but I will show this to my quest friends

Dope Nickelodeon hoodie dude! I built my own Slime VR and they worked GREAT for the first year I had them (2022) until they updated the Steam VR server app. Then they haven't worked so well. I ordered the Slime VR made trackers (from Slime, not my own DIY ones) and I'm still waiting for them to arrive, more than 6 months later. Thinking about giving these a shot..

So I was on eBay and I managed to find the same trackers with the elbow extensions but it’s only $137 and it has a lot of pictures with it as well. I’m thinking about getting it but at the same time I don’t want to be scammed like it shows the trackers in the box boxes itself and other stuff like that.

By accelerometer is that mode you mention at the start of the video where there's no loss of tracking. Unless you meant it's the tracking alone and not a separate overclock mode of sorts xD my bad

I will say there is a ton of drift with these. About 30 seconds in i could see your feet drifting closer together.

It seems to have moderate drift sometimes its amazing but while doing many movements quickly it does drift a clear case is at 7:51 a while he still has his legs out his legs are in like a tilted inward position. But they’re still amazing and drift at least for similar imu trackers are pretty okay

Good that there are more cheaper options but not really a fan of having to put on 7 trackers where you can put on 3 to do the same thing on steamvr tracking. Still think Tundra trackers best option if money is not biggest concern unless you sleep in vr or something.

the whole sellling point of these trackers are price and NO BASE STATION TRACKING i for example have a vive setup. ive had it for 6 years now and have moved houses and furniture and ever since theyre practically unsuable as they constantly lose tracking due to blind spots of my new furniture. i literaly cannot use laser based trackers which is why something like slime/haritora and so on are a more viable option without spending over 600$ on more base stations to put around my room just to sit and lay for casual social play so no the vive trackers dont do the same as IMU trackers in the slightest. less battery and more blindspots on vive for more accuracy. more battery and no blindspots for less accuracy on IMUs

Trackers either come with the trackers with the charging cables without the dongle or the trackers with the dongle and the trackers expansion pack with elbow tracking.

When you have them on the ankle it look like the foot is sliding a bit, so can you get them at foot and hip trackers or foo, upper leg (knee) and hip? For I have Vive trackers noe (for lend) and I think I get pest result when I have them on my foot rather than the ankle or leg.

Indeed nice but .... where is foot tracking? That is already small con. And is it not closed source system? Because it's company, they have more manpower and R&D compared to SlimeVR which is another story. So yeah, that is why they can do more with it in developing process, but makes it also little more pricey compared to SlimeVR. But. If you cannot wait, i guess you can get them. SlimeVR has still long wait list, means if you order now, you will wait approximately half year at least. Unless they made their factory place bigger with more people, right now the only downside is the waiting list. I ordered already long time ago, now i need wait ~1 month for my package. Another good side is big community to help together and they made software also better. And it can upgraded to future with better IMU, where you cannot do it with this company trackers. Choose what you like.

Yes, exactly, I agree! Slimes are fire, but I haven't gotten them because my friend still hasn't gotten his for over a year now. I simply can't deal with that. I'd probably check them out if they sent them to me. But this has foot tracking, but it's only up and down because you can't put the tracker on the foot like you can with a 3.0; it has to be on your ankle. You can see the ankle tracker has a proximity sensor that allows your foot to move up and down. I just forgot to show it.

@@HakariKimura Ah okay! I heard last news the production is improved by SlimeVR, they move more work to assemblage company. They even say 2022 orders will done in May, 2023 in June-July and 2024 even possible after. We go see if they can speed up the production, so you will get it soon or later. I am still waiting for it too. Technically both will track fine, since both uses best IMU chips.
