In this video a talk about what we are going to do with these bikes next, and show the upgrades that I did on the Amazon street KPM. Retest to see if removing the Air snorkel from the intake if the bike is faster and do a side-by-side 0 to 60 test .

Great video Hanz! I bought my KPM200 because I saw your videos. I recently put on a full exhaust, drag handle bars, and bar end mirrors. I love these bikes, but your right, they are sloooowwwww. I've tossed around the idea of putting different sprockets on mine to see if I can bring the rpm down when I'm cruising at 65/70 mph.

That's definitely something I am going to be working on in my future videos. I think a lot of people have questions about how that will affect the right of the bike. My concern is that it would take away what little torque it has... but maybe not. Thanks for watching.

Have you swapped out the sprockets? Was thinking 17 on the front and 45 on the rear. Also, thinking about using a 28mm Nibbi carb if I can get one of these bikes. Cheers

I turned mine I to a Scrambler I put some cheap Golden boy dirt bike tires on her and it tears up dirt roads I'm kinda impressed for what it is. I will need a softer rear shock because it's a very tight street type and sucks on washboard so bad. Nice mods friend.

I absolutely agree I was so impressed taking this thing off road with some good tires and actually handles better than the Hawk 250cc off road.

@@hanzdidit I have 1000 miles on mine now and I just adjusted my chain. I am noticing that the rear wheel hub has some play in it. From the chain side of the wheel if I progress the tire I can see the tire moves before the hub moves. Not much and I can't tell you it wasn't always this way but something to keep an eye out for. My goal in getting this bike was to off road it for a year and document the journey so other could see if it's something they wanted. A 4k dollar scrambler brand new with a 2 year warranty isn't a bad deal. So far I'm pretty happy. I put about 800 in parts on her day one. So with tax tags and tittle I'm around 4300.

Look into the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401. Still a very affordable bike, but with more power. And from a more reputable manufacturer

The tires are Shinko and the size I put on are back 130/80-17 the front is a 120/70-17 we did have to put a longer chain on the back to get it from hitting or rubbing on the swing arm. Yet another great video! I saw some guy take off the snorkel and after seeing this, went ahead and popped mine out and it definitely was louder. Noticed that little difference in the zero to sixty thing. Are you planning on doing any mods to the bike?

Yes I think I'm going to continue to modify the bike as I find parts and things that work to make it go faster and have more power. I'm really stoked on the changes that this tire has made, the bike rides so much better. I'm going to see if there's a way to customize my snorkel so that it is not so loud. It's not like a cool loud it's just kind of a air sucking loud. I'll make a video if I find something that works. Thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel.

What size tires did you get for the bike. Been looking for some dual sport tires for my kpm200 but wasn't too sure what size will fit. I tried going buy the stock size but they don't have that size in dual sport.

The tire on the rear is a 130/80-17 the front is a 120/70-17 like I said in the video we had to put a longer chain on the bike so that we could keep the back tire from rubbing on the swingarm so that is probably about the biggest tire you can fit on that bike. Yes the original chain was too short, putting the wider tire on the back I was not able to scoot it up far enough to get the original chain to fit. I just pulled it back a little so it wouldn't rub on the swing arm and put a longer chain on. Hopefully this was helpful thank you for watching.

removed that intake piece fom my KPR 200 and My top speed is now 83 on a clear night no wind and relatively flat ground. went to a cone filter and top speed dropped to 65 ish

Hmm, very restrictive filters… maybe a mesh screen will do?

It has a foam screen that should do find protecting the airbox is just louder than stock. It is super easy to pull out that restrictor and you definitely get more horsepower. Hope you like the video thank you so much for watching.

So I just did the same thing but I’m having an issue getting the rear caliper to sit in that slot on the swing arm. Do you have that issue by chance?

I had to buy a longer chain so I can set the tire back far enough back to get the clearance inside the swing arm using the tire that I put on. I did not have any problems with the caliper so I'm not exactly sure of what your problem is. If you want to send me some pictures I could try to help you with the issue. I am 5'7" so yes you will be on your toes but you should be able to manage the bike if you have some experience riding.

I think you're talking about the front fender, if so then yes it will fit on there I just thought it was cooler without it. I did not get much dirt flying off of it when I was riding at off-road so it might just stay off due to the fact that I will not write this off road very often but I can if I want to. Great vid! I just ordered a KPM yesterday. How do you like those tires on the street vs dedicated street tires (not necessarily the ones that came on the KPM)? If you want to take it off road more, there was apparently a KPT trail model with crash bars that will fit on the KPM I think. Also, this bike's domestic market had spoke wheels as an option and can be sourced as well. Those might add to the scrambler aesthetic your bike is taking on.

That is why I told everyone to get the longer chain. You need to put the tire further back so it will fit in side of the swing arm... therefore you need a longer chain. Not trying to mislead anybody just trying to help Josh.

Hey all! I want to purchase this bike as my first motorcycle. I am hesitant though because I know it is a Chinese bike and not a lot of shops work on them. How long do they last? Could I get 5 years out of one taking care of it? How reliable is the kpm200? Easy to work on? Thanks to anyone who can help!!

To be honest with you I have not had any problems with mine yet so I have not had to search for Partz. I know the company has a website so I'm sure you could contact them and track down any parts you need for the bike. I think it would be a great first bike you'll probably outgrow it in a couple of years but it is a great bike to learn on. I would highly suggest getting one I've been riding since high school and I still think it's a blast to ride. Thanks for watching.
