@RicerMiata when you were talking about not seeing your line for welding. Miller makes a certain type of computer/lens called "clear light technology" basically it's a crystal clear with amazing clarity. I just picked one up for my job and the other guys are always trying to use it lol. Seriously you can get miller helmet with clearlight for less then $200, just that helmet alone made me a much better welder!

I've seen 4 scissor jacks just randomly collapse in a split second over the years on perfectly level ground, and I've seen a hydraulic jack fail and crush my flatmate, the towbar came down on his shoulder and his collarbone exploded out of his neck, one of the gnarliest thins I've ever seen. If Chuck had seen what I've seen he would never skip the jack stand ever.

A build series take a stock daily used car and build it but every night you have to continue using as a daily and drive the car out the shop,home and back to shop next day the entire build. On the LCA you need to weld a strap on both leading edges. It will pick up a ton of the load and distribute across the arm vs the butt end weld.

in regards to brake clean, if you use alot, get a sureshot canister and buy the brake cleaner in bulk like 50 gal drum. it will last way longer and you pressurize the canister with air.

Easier way to figure out the ring and pinion is the stamped numbers on the ring if the diff case is open. Just divide them and it would come out to 4.08, 4.33, 4.66 ect.
