The measurements are to check the depth of the clutch compared to thr depth of the bellhousing, you still install it like normal with an alignment tool and torque it down

tbh mark did u dirty on that rear main, scratched up the crank, and hammered the new gasket with a hard metal hammer instead on rubber or at min wood, and ill just take a wild guess and say no cleaning was done prior to the gasket install... that shit is gonna leak worse than the old one fast

If you pull the crank pulley you need to buy a new crank bolt. If you remove the heads you need new head bolts. All of those are torque to yield so you CANNOT REUSE THEM!!! Next time just drop me off the motor we build it cam it call it a day

My e46 has the Pmc and zf5 out of early e46. It called for a m3 pressure plate but your trans isn’t m3 obviously so has to have the m52 10 spline I think it is clutch disc so it’s like a hybrid of a m57 or m3 pressure plate and a m52 clutch disc

What you need to do with the engine stand when you're going to transfer like that it's take a 2 by 4 go from the bottom of the stand up to the harmonic balancer and then strap it down it will stop it from bouncing and you would never have to worry about it snapping

ACT twin disc the clutch pedal feels a little stiffer than stock so it’s very street friendly and it bites really hard on the track with little to no chatter

isnt that a 6.0 not a 6.2 and theres 3 spacings for accessories on ls motors there corvette spacing, truck spacing and camaro spacing it can make getting the right part tricky it looks like you have the truck spacing

dollar store oven cleaner is the cheat for cleaning engines youn dont have to scrub at all spray it on wait about 20 seconds and power wash it off quickly and than do it again but dont let it set on there to long it will etch aluminum
