Lead makes the fish infertile, the plastic doesn't float or get caught in turtles, it's a great surface for the reef to grow on like the tyre reefs 😶

@@dhubitetackleandoutdoors3781 you’re absolutely correct. Too many people only see the negatives in adding more plastic into the ocean for no reason other than a lack of ability to hold onto a sinker so they don’t scratch their boat. More positive outlooks like this are needed! All those hermit crabs with medicine bottle shells, fish nesting in old line. All the opportunities these creatures would have missed! 😁 Thank god it doesn’t float - that way it’s gone forever!
