A friend just got admission into the university of Sunderland she said there's affordable accomodation but her major issue was getting a job so she had to be going to work in london while studying in the uni. I really don't know much about the area i will advise you make your research.

Kent is on a high side compare to other cities in the Uk. But you can see affordable accomodation depending on the Area you want to live in.

Me and my American wife are looking to move back to UK, I grew up in Lincoln but she's black and I have mixed kids, We currently live in utah and diversity isn't the best, We are looking for diversity especially for my wife to get her hair done and such. Thinking more City has that is more of a mixing pot. I didn't enjoy school in the UK but at least they're safer than US schools
