What a cool video -- peer-to-peer barter (to refine one's stack) and cooperative buying clubs (for lower prices and to avoid taxes in certain states) work very well among back-to-the-land gardeners, preppers, and livestock keepers. Trades would be person to person with no premiums, but for bulk purchases, folks could meet at a neutral place, write out aan agreement, contribute payments, entrust one member to make the purchase online, and meet next month to divide the haul. The savings would be substantial. And i like your back yard.

Louie I’m 100% in on this, I’m the one that left the comment yesterday and would very much like to be a part of building a local community and purchase consistently at a fraction of the $2000 limit. I always have to restrain myself when the deals are so good in the mornings but only have $700 to spend.

Louie I have often thought of buying, selling, and trading with fellow stackers at spot. WIN WIN for both parties. I was afraid to mention this idea, thinking I would be excommunicated from the group. In addition of setting up a location page, The group/club could set up a buy sell site for buyers, sellers, and traders Possibly charge a small fee to be part of this group and for you to host it. We would still be money ahead. This is commonly done with investment clubs and is legal. Then the parties could communicate outside the group and work out details on exact costs and shipping.

It could work well. I think the relationships to locals is the value. Not just today but down the road. Trading would be great with no buy/sell spread (gold/silver).

Love this idea, the main problem I have with silver is the buy and sell difference. My LCS's in central ohio are offering 3-4 dollars back of spot for engelhard it's absolutely ridiculous.

On the retaining wall, topic, great job I have a similar slope in my backyard that I did a two-tier small wall system, and then put in ground cover that would keep the soil from eroding like ornamental grasses, and even some creeping Jenny and some low growing juniper

Mornin Louie. That protein diet really works. My sister lost a full grown man of weight. She went from 350lbs to 132lbs took 2 years but I hear slow going is the best way. Backyard looks good.

Thanks, Unkie. Yeah, I'm a believer in all forms of keto. The main problem is people saying they are keto, then not following the rules. You kind of have to be a zealot about it or don't bother. 50 pounds off, and holding firm at 215 for me.

Two adages have served me with one being. "If it's too good to be true it probably is" and "A sucker is born every minute". I generally avoid # two by double checking #one
