I'm using an Nex 5r with this setup on video, with dummy battery and powerbank and I make an test stream to more than 1 hour and camera don't overheat nothing.

One question: why should one set the power saving start time to 30 min when it doesn't really matter? Normally such cameras only record 30 min at a time due to the import tax regulation. So how is it possible to use the camera for streaming multiple hours? Would love to have a clarification. Thank you guys.

I've seen a few people on the github forum using Mac and getting this to work. If you are tech savvy enough, you should be able to figure it out.
