CHEAPEST ULTRA-LIGHT CHINESE CARBON FIBER SEATPOST?!?

I bought the 30.9 diameter by 400mm long version of this post. It weighs 188g all together. Mine failed on the second ride. I rode off a dropoff and landed hard on the saddle which caused one of the two aluminum spindles to snap in half. I made a new spindle out of titanium and have been happy with the post ever since. The post is fine for road riding and mild mountain biking but beware if you push your gear to it's limits.

Structurally, it's sound; however, I switched to the ElitaOne post because I was having issues with the Helix seat yolks rocking independently since they aren't connected. This caused my seat to move frequently.

@@gabrielfong5601the elita one is holding up fantastic. As for the safety, my sample size is only one. Personally, I would put them on all of my bikes. Comfort is about the same as the hylix.

I ordered mine 31.6 (300 mm) length for my disc roadbike weighing only 145 grams. And It only cost me $23 hehehe free shipping and some shop voucher for 2$ less. I'm from Philippines and ordered it on online shopping app that is only available in South east Asia. It is a win win! You can actually choose it sizes 27.2 30.9 or 31.6 and length of 300, 350, or 400mm. Btw it is a generic carbon but I think it is all the same Great video, keep it up! And I want the headphones 😅 I subscribed

I found this seatpost on ali express with different brand name for only 23usd always Chinese carbon parts cheaper on ali express than ebay give ali express a look.

The post is still doing great. I liked it so much I bought one for my hardtail mountain bike and it's holding up fantastically there as well.
