Excellent reviews! Thank you for being authentic and honest . I see too many other food review channels where they smile for the whole video and just hype things up, which is so fake. Keep being real!

Wow, thank you so much! It really means a lot to hear this. I think food reviews should be honest and helpful, not just all hype, so I’m glad you enjoy the realness. Your support keeps us going! What’s your favorite type of food to see reviewed?

Drove by song Huong today and told my friend he has to go! The bun Bo hue is amazing, but the 7 beef dish is even better. Love their house sauce/dip!

Thanks for sharing! Totally agree, their bún bò Huế is good and the 7 beef dish is unique and fun. Anson hates that fish mint though hahah What's your favorite dish there?

@@kingkaieats You've done a great job at covering some hole-in-the-wall places who could use the love as they might not come up on a google search or don't get the usual foodie influencer coverage and taking viewers on dining experiences that aren't as main stream. Just excited to see where you go next.

@@Chris.T-Van Thank you so much for your kind words! ❤ It means so much to know our efforts resonate with you. @@kingkaieats basically I’m Vietnamese, I’m always been a big fan of Bo 7 Mon, I remember when we visited Los Angeles in late 1990, it has killer Bo 7 Mon…. coming back to Vancouver, we were somewhat disappointed. Until we discover this hidden gem in mid 2010. If memory serves me right, he’s the owner restaurant back 2000 with a wife, they soon got divorced and he went solo and opens this restaurant.

@@taitrinh9832 Wow, what a journey-and what a story behind the restaurant! It’s amazing how food can bring back such vivid memories. Bo 7 Mon is such a classic! How does this hidden gem compare to the one you had in LA back in the ‘90s? Also, are there any other spots in Vancouver you really enjoy

Thanks for the review! I absolutely have a kind of passionate dislike for that fish mint leaf, and cannot get myself to try it to taste those notes you are getting, but good for you two for giving it a chance!
@kingkaieats5 күн бұрын
Haha, We totally get it! Fish mint definitely isn’t for everyone with its strong, unique flavor. 😅 We're glad we gave it a try, though! Definitely not Anson's Favorite. Maybe it’s one of those love-it-or-hate-it things. Do you have any other foods you’re hesitant to try?
