I bought Google Pixel 2 in December 2017. Used it as my main phone for 4.8 years (without any issues). Switched to Google Pixel 6 in August 2022 and using Pixel 2 as a secondary phone now. Pixel 2 still going strong and holds battery . Absolutely loving the Pixels. So this is 7th year for Pixel 2 in working. And Pixel 2 had unlimited storage of photos so that's another advantage.

After the pixel 2 series there is no unlimited photo storage facility, In Pixel 3 series you can unlimited photos storage but reduce quality.

@@P4Prashanth I haven't faced any serious heating issue, minor heating is bound to happen in any phone while charging as afterall it's a chemistry thing to charge a battery.. and I use the adaptive charging feature so when I plugin charger at night it adapt charging speed to make it 100 percent by morning alarm time..

Watching this video on my pixel 6A Just a correction guruji pixel 6A came with Android 13 out of the box which could then be upgraded to Android 14. Moreover i have one problem with my Pixel 6A which is it's battery drainage issue. It drains battery very fast.

@@Trishant_k yes the processor is the old tensor G1 chip hence the heating while 4K. I would suggest to record in normal 1080HD which is more than enough.

I have been a Pixel user for more than a year now... earlier had a Redmi Note 8 which came well for 3 years (20-23) so yea.. just went for Pixel 6a due to a few reasons > a budget of... 30k.. and only 2 were in this range... s21fe @29k... 6a @30k... Later on that day, s21fe went to 35k. > I have just joined college... and google is reliable till I finish BTech ( even updates are till 2027) > 2.75Ghz processor ... tensor ... is fast and good.. yep it rebranded Exynos but very well optimized > camera... best in 30k range at that time ... we all know pixel cameras > Google phone .. so ofc Google apps are very much optimised... and even quick updates(right now i have A14 and Gemini on my phone instead of Google Assistant) > clean UI... no nonsense like MIUI or FunTouchOS (mom uses vivo) > last factor... looks and design.. it does grab the attention while all these are the plus points... der are a few negatives. > Sometimes it does heat... not a lot but more than its usual... yep it is a flagship processor so makes sense.. but heat management could be better > Battery... it's decent.. morning at 6.45am i leave with 80-85% and by 3pm its at 20%... I carry my power bank along so not a big deal. as i get a proper 8hrs but it won't last the whole day like the speed tests show (i don't use it continuously for 8hrs..) > slow charging...18W afterall... so u have to plan out ur stuff... u cant keep charging for last min but yeah all these problems arent really problems considering the phone's amazing ui and experience.... anyone who want to buy it.. nah, just go for the 7a now... processor is old. Tensor G2>>> Tensor G1... plus pixel 7a is just a better buy.. more features... better hardware... longer software updates....and has hardly 6-7k difference.
