The cold black bean soup is a really really good and refreshing recipe! Love it so much.....as a diabetic myself I'd rather step away from any wheat/rice or buckwheat noodles, but I have used konjac noodles with this and it tastes incredible! ( and for the the non diabetics among us: you could even make this soup into a dessert by using azuki beans and sugar). Lentils.....you can never go wrong with lentils!!! And last: thank you for showing vegan 'hoddeok' ....again as a diabetic bananas are out of my league ( but damn...I love them so much!!!), so I suggest using bananas in their unripe stage, so they do not contain high levels of carbs, but more levels of resistant starch. Thank you so much for these absolue lipsmacking videos....you've earned yourself another subbie in me!!!

Have you ever added any spices or anything else to blend up with the black beans to spice up the sauce a bit? You should call the lentil dish Korean dal. That's what it reminds me of, but with Korean spices instead if Indian.
