For those commenters who are saying Parker is 'wierd' or 'kooky' or 'strange'......it's called having a personality. If we were all the same existence would be boring. I just wish she had a KZbin channel. ...I'd definately watch it. She is a beautiful human....and what is 'normal' these days anyway. Stuff being 'normal'!!! Rock on you AWESOME human being!!! Thanks for the vlog Bob & Parker. xx

I built my own home alone, from the bottom of the septic tank to the last top shingle on the roof. It was a 9 year odyssey,, paying for it as I went along. And Like Parker I had people telling me I would never be able to do it, some even showing derision at my dream. Sadly even my best friend fought me on this. So I really felt it, when Parker said it gave her a feeling of accomplishment. And I so get the great feeling that our good host expressed about it finally being all paid for , all hers. I now , have my sights set on a 6X12 Cargo trailer, for a super lightwieght build I hope to pull with a Ford Transit Connect. Parker you are a Hero!!!

Wow, she finished a camper and is recovering, living well and travelling. Gotta laugh at the shock people have about her solar capacity. I usually integrate 1kW of solar panels and a storage to suit. The trailer I pull behind my truck has a lathe and other tools running off grid without issues. Kept my convection/microwave etc as well. Don't know why people are hating on her stuff. She's a woman with interests so she'll have what others may call clutter. Her timetable to sort it out as she wants to. Peace.

What a lovely young woman. Building your own home is so satisfying. You can see it on her face. I too had to escape the dreariness of the beautiful Pacific Northwest for my own sanity.

What did you think about not being around any water Bryant? From the rainy side of Oregon here. Maybe I should practice by going out to eastern Oregon... I know nothing about deserts.
@bryantford30547 жыл бұрын
Ellen Pham I love Oregon. Spent my summers there when I lived in an RV for a couple of years. Western Oregon (in my opinion) is not nearly as dreary as the Puget Sound or southeast Alaska. Going to the Arizona desert for my first winter was a shock after 7 years in Alaska. Took me awhile to appreciate the beauty. The important thing is to experience different areas of this wonderful country we have. (I've been to 49 states so far.)

Class A Living As can Central Ohio, nowadays. Now, people here frequently greet each other with, "So how do YOU like living in Seattle?!" or, "If I'd wanted to live in the Rain Forest, I'd have bought a house in the Great Northwest! When does Monsoon season end!?" Gloomy & smelling of mildew, that's us. lol! (sigh) (although, sometimes the gray rainy days are restful, I must admit - just not so many in a row! geezooey!)

I tried to leave, went to Colorado for 3 years. I came back and rediscovered paradise; ocean, forest, and mountains I have to explore in my campervan! I don't see it as dreary because there is so much life everywhere.

SO INSPIRED!!! I love this! I love that Parker did it her way AND the fact that she's "a girl"! Talented, courageous lady! Love that sky-light! The mostly white interior makes the space seem bigger. The rig must suck the gas like crazy but when she is parked she is truly in a (tiny) home. Stealth is an issue. There are trade-offs for most anything in life. ...And to the people who call her weird, guess what, you must have lived a sheltered life because we are all weird - which is another way of saying we are all human.
