@shovelnite The succession arc takes a massive turn, with barely any action and a lot of exposition. It would be jarring for casual watchers and would likely be dropped by a lot of people. Im not speaking down on the arc, I think its great, but it isnt what people have come to expect from hxh. I dont think a big studio would want to risk sinking money into it, and I think a smaller studio would do it just as well, since theres barely any actual movement lol.

​@@Oscar-ek2jxthis take makes no sense to me: there's been a LOT of action this whole arc, the ratio action/exposition here isn't any worse than during the Chairman Election arc and definitely not far away from the CA arc's; besides, HxH has always been about characters discussing or overthinking a majority of the time (and especially since the Chimera Ants arc). Except if they've stopped at Greed Island, this very much is what people should've come to expect from the series. Putting no budget, care and effort into (internal or external) dialogue scenes is how you're ACTUALLY gonna alienate the audience: 99% of Meruem's scenes are him thinking or playing gungi with Komugi, and no one is gonna come and say they've found that boring-because there is ACTION, there is conflict, there is something happening, there's also care and attention to detail put into it, there are gripping OSTs, voice acting, sound effects and quality animation to make it not just compelling but truly fascinating. Honestly I don't understand how one can watch and read the whole series and still have such nonsensical perspective about it

A simple bastardization because depending on the translation her name is either Borksen or Volksen and instead I chose to bastardize her name to "Bork and Beans" because it is funny. Although if we find out Mr. Beans is somehow on the Whale 1 for whatever reason I might have accidentally unlocked the most unholy crack ship name.

What do you think about this(?): If Morenna or one of her subordinates kill Borksen, would that fulfill the conditions (I mean, she would be a witness then, lol)? I really think there is room for post-mortem Nen (by a specialist). Plus the only explaination given was "I help and guide them so they can develop their ability." This is pretty vague.

Do you guys think Bork recruitment was Morena's joker that Ken'i Wang mentioned or will the joker come later? We were left off with the spiders pretty much figuring out Morenas movement and by Kenis worry it seems they might catch up to her way sooner than she expect. I do think next time we see Keni it will be with Nobunaga going after him since Nobunaga belives someone is secretly helping her and it's confirm to be Keni. It seems like Nobunaga might shut done the point farming system they got in place.

I wonder if Togashi was told by one of his helpers about the concept of the story being a tool used to incorporate shippers thus choosing not showing the kiss or did Togashi deliberately troll them the whole time on his own? I just realized that Togashi’s writing elaborated on the concept of “Morena” knowing right away that Bjorksen never being kissed; yet alone had done it with anybody before thus further drawing attention away from the unseen kiss. I wonder if Togashi was hinting at Bjorksen possibly being Asexual?
