Considering the amount of death flags set up for Kurapika this arc, I'm kinda leaning towards Wobble's spirit guardian being Kurapika, but just not yet. Kacho and Fugetsu had a very similar need for someone else in their lives, and as such their GSB also developed in ways to account for each other, Kacho's specifically making sure neither girl has to be alone. I think Wobble GSB might work similarly. It attunes to someone Wobble identifies as their guardian, and if that guardian perishes, it brings them back somehow. This would allow Wobble to have this undying maniac doing her work, and the whole concept of Kurapika being immortal under certain conditions just feels a lot like the type of thing our boy would absolutely abuse in the most gruesome and raw ways possible.

I have Volumes of Questions for Togashi. We can never tell him Transmuters get the Shaft, we cant ask him about all the basics, we cant ask what the Vague Limits of Conjuration are and why a Conjurer cant mimic ALL other Types. Man, the guy won't even reveal Nen-Types, let alone specific Ability-Details about DEAD Characters. The moment i heard Meruem is not a Speciaist i thought 'OH! It must be strog Manipulation then. It must be. Thus it follows that manipulating a Body into crafting a Hatsu is what Meruem does to himself, Pouf does only to Others and Morena does ot Both Herself AND Others' but hey, t hats unbconfirmed

If I remember it correctly , Queen Oito was already a nen user given that she was directly interacted with kurapikas nen abiity, my theory on this is that Queen Oitos (possible) upcoming nen ability is something that would help,protect and enhance kurapika, and given that nens strength is somewhat correlated with the persons desire its possible that queen Oitos nen ability would be insane in terms of helping kurapika

The only two princes that were nen users prior to the voyage are 1st prince Benjamin and 2nd prince Camilla. Queen Oito did become forcefully awakened to Nen though, thanks to Kurapika's ability. I've gotta be honest, I completely forgot about the fact that she's yet to develop her own hatsu. However, unless she's a genius or a specialist with a pre-wired hatsu, then it'll take a while.

wobles nen beast ability is one ofthe many big mysteries of this arc thats rarely talked about. i think. i agree with most things you said but ill add this: babies are very relyant on natural instinct almost like animals or chimera ants which in my theory means they are natural nen users and we all know the urn ceremony forcefully awakened the nen of all princes. so woble not only has guardian beast ability but also her own nen ability. trying to guess it is difficult but it must related to family or protection like sadi maybe a manipulation or enhancement. who knows .. maybe woble is the strongest ene user in all of hxh maybe her ability is to cause hiatus which is the only way to stop her from dying.jokes aside im enjoying this serie despite the hiatus hxh is so dense and full of content that itll take years to analyse everything.

I thought this really cool idea that might be possible paternal protection how ability works is its gain the minimum from him and his parent figures, his mother and kurapika have any other abundant aura stored away. Not enough to be noticeable but enough to wear when it activates will flood the parent enough arua to protect him and maybe at the healing factor who they can keep protecting him maybe even slightly undoing some damage done to the parents, but it could be condition only activates when the parents are near death saving them so they can save him a very selfless ability get very selfish in nature saving other, so they can save you a very good give-and-take, and it might even be the longer this takes to activate the bigger. The boost will be potentially making the boost permanent, which could help Kurapika get the power. He needs to no longer use emperor time, especially if the queen dies in the story might activate some postmortem nen Through outside means causing kurapika to become even stronger in order to protect him

The entire time about this theory I was like "Is this how Togashi will extend Kurapika's life despite Emperor Time?" And I was imagining that the GSB made Woble older, instead of taking years from Kurapika. As in, in a couple of days, Woble looks closer to the 13 prince in age, instead of a total baby. Which sound really dumb

Regarding that last theory I'll take a shot in the dark that is most definitely wrong but it's fun What if Kurapika being possessed or designated by the GSB fundamentally changes his chain jail nen vow? Something like, now your powers shall only be used to protect. Kinda steering him away from the self destructive revenge stuff

@@ricardoj376 i wasn't replying to the OP, some other guy was saying (iirc) that Kurapika uses emperor time nonstop during the succession war and when his life span is completely depleted, Alluka heals it back. Which would be cheap, the Gon and Alluka situation is different as it happened with the story naturally and it was a one off thing. If Togashi did it again for Kurpika then it would be cheap.

With all the new chapters and just how powerful everyone is becoming, I think wobles nen beast is definitely a hidden trump card for either a last minute power boost to anyone who proves willing to defend woble from any threat (even her mother could potentially receive a huge physical boost without proper nen training) OR an emergency escape option 😅, idk how else togashi will explain a *baby* having this “ultimate weapon” for a nen beast 🤔

Given how Kurapika has been massively overdoing it with Emperor Time and needs to start being more conservative with his Specialist powers, I could see something like him getting the prince's Nen Beast as a new power. Kurapika essentially cheats with way through Nen so I think him being given a new power ny somebody else kinda tracks.

Considering that Terror Sandwich's second Nen Beast is theorized to act like some kind of Aura Well that can be accessed during a state of Zetsu, Kurapika getting something similar through Wobble GSB is something that could potentially even the playing field.

HxH fans are uncoordinated and scattered af. Visible not only in the following of content-creators, with fans of Rion Studios or Amagi maybe not knowing the go-to KZbinr for all things hxh-related: New World Review, and the fans of that guy maybe not knowing the Amagi or Rion Studios. But theres more: Slime-Tensei-Mods exist for Minecraft, but there is no such thing for Nen. Fanfictions exist in written form, but they are too rare. But what really gets me is the lack of real-life-fan-films, despite Special-Effects barely being important in this specific franchise and everyone possesing a camera nowadays. C'mon, people, do 'something'!

To comment on Kurapika being manipulated by the nen beast and it potentially cheapening his character arc, I'd argue Togashi has done this in the past with Killua ripping out Ilumi's needle, revealing that all the "trauma" Killua had was artificially imposed, making his conflict during the first half of the Chimera Ant arc feel kind of superficial. I used to really hate the needle scene, but its grown on me (somewhat) over the years, because in that case, at least the needle develops Illumi's messed up sense of love. Conversely, I think Kurapika being manipulated would be a strict negative. I don't want to sacrifice his character arc for the revelation that a literal baby has baby instincts, but you're right that this is probably the most logical thing for the nen beast to do. I think it'd be nice if the beast had something to do with innocence, maybe giving a soothing effect to people nearby. Not necessarily manipulating Kurapika to protect the prince specifically, but perhaps giving him some serenity and the ability to act rationally when he sees the 4th prince's collection? Or when he inevitably learns that the spiders are aboard the ship.

That's an excellent point and parallel. Wish I had brought it up to strenghten the point. I agree with you almost entirely regarding the needle plot point. Had very similar feelings regarding it. The calming effect you're describing sounds very similar to what Melody's hatsu can do and I personally don't see any basis for an outright "calming" effect. Also, the abilities would be similar enough that I don't see both prominently appearing in the same arc (and Melody's plot thread has yet to be resolved).

Killuas mental restrictions in CA just being Needle is not cheap at all... Just because it was implanted and not himself doesn't mean it didn't take any less effort on his part to overcome

@@snowman9631 My problem with Killua pulling out the needle is that it completely undermined all the emotional turmoil he had beforehand. He pulls out the needle and that's it--conflict resolved. There's no exploration of the legitimate trauma Killua should have from being raised as an assassin, which imo is a wasted opportunity, especially since it was teased at the end of the hunter exam and when he first showed off his electricity hatsu. Also, it's not like Killua had to actually overcome a character flaw to protect Gon, he just yanks out the needle and is like "Ah gg Illumi you got me good". Instead of Killua having issues from his upbringing, the entire conflict is resolved with the knowledge that Illumi is a jerk, and that Killua loves Gon enough to resist his brainwashing. The second point might be substantial, since Killua having doubts about his loyalty to Gon was a big part of his character in early Chimera Ant, and being able to pull out the needle proves he's not gonna betray him, but at the same time, the needle was what gave Killua those doubts in the first place--it wasn't his own doing. If he wasn't brainwashed, there'd never have been any question of him leaving Gon to die. Therefore, pulling out the needle doesn't meaningfully change Killua's character. His behavior changes, but the change comes from the fact that Killua isn't being manipulated anymore, not that he developed as a person. What's cool about the scene is the lengths Illumi will go to protect Killua, and how Illumi doesn't care about Killua as a human at all, but I think it's a massively disappointing outcome for Killua.

I remember watching a lot of Tekking years ago. Good guy. A few notes on what you said: 1. Apart from the notes he takes down to help him stay on topic, Tekking's vids are mostly entirely unscripted; 2. He barely needs to bother with visual editing as he films himself, while I almost entirely use anime/manga content as visuals; 3. I'm not a full time youtuber and so just barely hanging on to this biweekly schedule as is; 4. The content I trimmed down was really worth trimming down; pretty much everybody accepts that the nen surge was from prince Woble's GSB, I just have a tendency to go overboard with detail on occasion and one of the ideas I played with was that it could've been one of Camilla's "have-nots" cursing him, but the time-frame simply didn't match up. In any case, the next video is going to be more "character overview/analysis" based and will definitely be among the longer ones I've made (I'm still in the researching stages, but I'm pretty sure it'll be about half an hour). It won't be covering SIlva though. My first ever video on the channel from... almost 6 years ago actually goes into the promise Silva made Killua do. It's very old and was made when I was still using my "inside-voice" and while I would add a few things now, it still largely holds up. Give it a look-see if you're interested.
