Imagine if in apex you died to a cheater and they got banned, then you get the rp you lost in that ranked game back. So a cheater kills a bunch of normal players in several matches and now suddenly all those plays just shoot up to diamond and break the ranked system so Respawn and EA can see how bad the cheater problem is based on how many people got masters for free and how many matches are being screwed over because of cheaters.

I've started running into reactive afk bots in mixtape- they just do a walk cycle if you leave them alone, but flick to you and start shooting if you shoot them. I'm mentioning this because I assume the bots are leveling accounts to cheat in ranked. with bots to level accounts, unless the anti-cheat can catch hackers within a few games, ranked is going to stay full of cheaters no matter how many get banned. Respawn did add the restriction on how far apart in rank people can be and still play together, so if the anti-cheat gets fast enough, I suppose that would fix the problem.

Wrong. Main difference is being smart and not. A lot of people don't pay attention to patches (for the cheats) after Apex has an update and they just rush into a match and run it. The anti-cheat was updated, they get fucked, they get banned. Anyone with half a brain knows that after ANY update/patch you need to wait 1-2 weeks to see if it's still safe to use or not. That's why majority need to be manually banned. Because if you aren't stupid, you won't ever get caught by the actual anti-cheat itself. By the time you cheat, it would be insanely safe to do so. Manual review is the only way most people will ever get caught regardless of what cheats they use. Source: I used to cheat QUITE a lot. Not in Apex, I cheated back in CS 1.5/1.6 days and a little bit in source and TF2. This was when I was much younger and didn't really care about being competitive at all. I still keep up to date on all the updates and software they use because if you know what to look for, it's much easier to spot. Plus if you keep up with the cheater forums you know when a new cheat drops and you should avoid ranked. And you ALSO KNOW when the cheat isn't updated and down. Making it much safer to hard grind ranked.

not true. Its not about money or a better software but just the amount of user using the software. If you have 20k user using your cheat it will most likely be detected pretty quick. If only 20 peoples using your product and 20 trusted people. The cheat will most likely never get detected even if the software is way worse than the 20k user software that is like insanely well coded and really good but 20k users will make it getting dtc

Well sure. But everyone in the comments acts like THEY are in the top ranks lmfao. It's only like 0.30% of the entire player base on PC. So over 99.95% of people will never experience this problem. Which is why the game stays so popular. Because cheating is an issue, but it's only a very small issue because it only really hurts a VERY tiny percentage of players. So tiny, that most people won't even notice a cheating issue very often at all.

Unless you are in the top 0.10% it's perfectly fine. Cheating is only really rampant in EU and Asian servers and only in the HIGHEST ranks. Literally 99.95% of people will never have this issue. They'll see a cheater maybe once every 2 weeks and then cry they are everywhere.
