Wife needs to take control. Her spouse resolved the issue. He didn't act improperly. She is insecure and very hormonal. She had been insecure even before she became pregnant. Before she drives her spouse away, she had best pull it in. He can't be imprisoned in the home indefinitely. This person need counseling.

Wife needs to get a grip. Her husband sorted it out. He didn't do anything wrong. She is very hormonal, but also insecure. Her insecurity was there way before the pregnancy. She better reel that in before she drives her husband away. He can't stay locked in the house forever. This one needs therapy.

The OP in the first story handled things like a boss. It’s insane how the wife wanted to maintain the marriage with still see the affair partner. That’s not how it works, you either have one or the other. But it’s also funny how when she finally sees that he is serious about the divorce that she has a son realization and wants to fix things. Most likely it’s because she knows that she’ll have to pay him alimony and also everyone in her family and her friends are against her in this scenario. But also it’s possible they live in a at fault, divorce state, or that her fair partner only sees her as a booty call and nothing more. She had her chance by deciding not to cheat or a possible chance of breaking off contact with the guy, but she refused to do either. She’ll even have to suffer through as the OP is dating other women while this is going on. He has options out there with prettier and younger of age women who would really offer him loyalty.
