Lamello is the most impressive company in my point of view. It's amazing. Now all their tools are cordless as well.

You can soften the crown return if you 3 peice it, 22.5 on each miter. I've been doing it for the last few years with happy customers.

I like the tread return method. One Question. I think there would be a conflict with the balusters and the fixture??
@jeremyfausset53302 жыл бұрын
Could you use the tenso clip on the under of the tread into the stringer to have no surface fasteners?

Hi Just found your channel.. really like it, it reminds me of this old house. I have a question about the screen you used behind the siding. In England we had the Hi Just found your channel.. really like it, it reminds me of this old house. I have a question about the screen you used behind the siding. In England we had the Grenville fire. A tower block that had cladding with plastic and channels with no breaks in them, behind it. As the fire caught in one spot it was transported through the channels like chimneys spreading the fire further and faster. Is this a concern here?

there is a little bit of wobble not much though. Also the drill jig you have to be a little careful since when you put it in the slot it can alight left or right a little so you have to make sure it is centred

This is how you install your face frames as well correct?
@hellonoko5 жыл бұрын
That’s neat. Alternatively you’d have to clamp each tread across its full width with a large clamp or some similar setup?

You could use kreg screws

You sounded a little uneasy calling the parts of the lemello male & female; perhaps A and B piece would work better, like what you've in epoxy.

No corner borders on cedar shake siding is uglier, more time consuming, takes more effort, and cost more money than cornerboards. As a Carpenter that's a pitch I make to the architect, and/or especially to the home owner. I persaud them everytime.

Too time consuming for a fancy thick plastic biscuit not to mention proprietary tool and consumables that are way too expensive and the loss of surface area for glue. I've installed returns with either biscuits, dowels, and finish nails and glue for over 25 years and the best way is two pocket screws and wood glue, its economical/clean/fast and extremely strong . We all know that quality and time is money
