I rode in one when I was about 10, pulled us out of a mud puddle in the middle of the nj pine barrens I thought it was the greatest thing ever built. Still had those tractor tires. And drove slow but went through anything congrats and happy birthday

That's what tractors do, lol. The M715 was a road-legal tractor, not fast but strong. Those tires are standard military issue NDTs (Non Directional Tread, I believe).

M715’s were only ‘67, ‘68, and some in ‘69. But that is awesome! My dad has multiple 1969 Jeep gladiators (the civilian version) which also have Buick 350’s (would have been a swap for an M715, they all came with the inline 6). One of those trucks will be my project, and I’m gonna build it for overlanding.

That thing has a lot of rare parts on it. Waterproof distributor and plugs. 24v system. Part the motor out and it will decrease in value. Thunderhead289 has just done an article on one.

Agreed. Try a soda blast on the frame in case the frame has markings on it, soda wont destroy them.

Happy birthday🎂 Isaac. The jeep is awesome, drove similar ones in the Army 1965-1967 and they are darn near indestructible. A truck you can have in your family for years to come. I drove a Willis jeep that would jump the front wheels over a coke can. Truth! Wish I had one today ❤😎

I just finished a 1946 cj2a, complete off frame restoration. It was a experience I wouldn't change, and memories that will live on. God Bless and love the videos and your new truck, let's see more.
