Thanks for this video. I am dealing with the same issue on my 97. Bought new cores from the online, but then I found out there are different sizes depending on full or half door, which top, yadda yadda. Gonna try this fix this weekend.

I've never been a Chevelle fan but there are a few year models that I have liked. This one is at a point where if its not repaired soon its only going to be good as a parts car. This being a legit 69 SS Chevelle, not restoring it would be sacrilege. You should make a series of videos showing you completely restoring it by yourself or with someone else, regardless of who helps just video you getting the car back to a point where the average blue collar worker today could and would get the car. Mainly to show how much it would cost if done on a budget. There is another KZbin channel where a guy is doing that with a 1968 Camaro with a $5000 dollar budget and that is not counting labor and the car price.

My buddy just crashed his ..The copper lines that go over the air tanks froze and busted.I drained the tank and it was full.Has little release valves on bottom..It's a split system from what I read heard..The master cyclinder is in the floor board I'm sure you no..Have to remove the top brake line to remove top to reservoir top..He crashed his into a 18 wheeler trailer..Tore it up pretty good..Right above the front bumper mashed it..2900 tow bill...Tail lights and no lights blow but them brakes trump all that. Lol.Supposed to be a back up system old military fellow told me..He had all the books and all with it.We just got it running good..He half ass them brakes....Was good looking unit..Need parts it's in Bama..35121..Enioyed!

If you don't have one you should get a powerprobe well the money. A test light doesn't tell you if you have 12volts but a powerprobe will.

Again. Congratulations on your purchase of two M35a2 Please don't take this the wrong way.Not trying to tell you how to do anything on your M35. Your lights are grounded to the truck directly on the back of the light buckets. There should be grounding warshorses if those are corroded over most of your lights will not work. Or operate, mine had done the Same thing. If you are talking about turn signals and brake lights.🙂

I believe the military stuff is like aviation, they use resettable circuit breakers vs fuses.

Thankyou for the update!! Hey, that other deuce where that older man was selling it, ask him some questions if you can. He seemed like he was very knowledgeable about those things. Or, get to be friends with someone else who knows what to do. Love the truck. I guess I'll watch cac just to see it.

I feel your pain, spent a few TOO many times under my '73-K30. Didn't help getting a bad new switch. & A funny connection, those rings (Sealed Power, Speed Pro, Muskegon Piston Ring) were pro ably made in Muskegon Michigan. Used to be the World Headquarters for them & SPX. Now scattered elsewhere in the country & foreign locations, what a shame... Kool store, history & OEM parts, etc... Thanx !
