The first sanseviera dark solid green is a trifasciata black dragon, I have my moonshine in direct sunlight and remains light in colour. The sansevieria laurentii with striped green wich you have several is a zeylanica. The one you said is a patens, is believe is a Boncel.

Definitely you can grow snake plants, healthy but needs sunlight some of the variety. Whitney can have leaves like the size of whale fin . Need more knowledge of ID, great presentation, beautiful house and lovely lady as your plants. My humble opinion. Waiting for your next round.

What an awesome collection of sansevierias! I always say that if I had to give up all my plants except for a couple of collections, I'd keep my orchids and my sansevierias! I have one that looks just like your S. patens. The tag on mine calls it a "S. cylindrica var. patula boncel", or commonly "S. starfish". 🤷♀️

Beautiful snakes. Sometimes if my snake is leaning, I will prop it up with a good size rock for awhile. Have a blessed day.

I have 6 sanseveria’s in my office. They are so easy. I can go on a summer holiday for 3 weeks and not bother my colleagues with watering them.

Agreed!!! So easy to care for!! 😍

Why didn't you split the robusta into two if not 3 plants?

My oldest plant is one I found in the garbage. I found it tipped over in a trash bin just under thirteen years ago. I just saved another from the ditch the other day. It was on the curb for a couple weeks. Then the other morning I told my myself if it's there today it's mine. It wasn't there. I was bummed. Then in the day light. I saw someone threw it from the curb into the ditch. I turned around and grabbed it. The roots were heavily exposed. It lived in my backseat for five hours and got to the house and found a pot and dirt. It's doing great. I have eight other plants. Kinda bummed tho. I wasn't thinking and okay'd a water softener. Now I have to go to the natural spring fifteen miles down the way.

Free plants are the best!!! And you saved them!! There are two palms outside near my office that are just being left at the curb. They're huge and too big for me, and I hope someone else grabs them soon. It's getting colder. 😬

Sansevieria that you have in water really need soil like your others because they originate in Asia , Africa warm countries and states such as Arizona or florida. They will thrive better and avoid root rot.
