Check out My Wife's Thai Farm life in Korat just one of our 2 houses we live in. One in the Country and one close to the sea.

-Farm life In a small village of about 60 houses, we visit the wife's Thai farm a few times a year and I do some work every time we visit.
-Farm wife, a country girl what a wonderful girl she is and her family I could not ask for more. My Thai wife was a Farmer
-Thailand Farm life, we visit my wife's farm a few times a year, my wife helps around the farm when we come. Farm life here starts at 5 am every morning no bars, clubs no foreigners to talk to in our village, this is about as remote as it gets. We do renovations to the farm every time we visit the farm.

Geez Les, that went by so quickly!! Your in-laws must love and appreciate you!! That was some great work you invested into the farm and farmhouse!! It's such a wonderful culture that the younger members continue to visit their parents and older family members, if even for a weekend,and help doing chores. It's heartbreaking to see the loneliness of many of the elderly in the USA and other Western countries. Hope we get another couple vlogs from the farm!❤️

Thanks for taking time to comment, that is one thing I like about living here in Thailand the foamily we have staying in Ploys house her Granma she is 85 and lives around the corner but she sleeps in Ploys house The village is a community and looks' out for everyone and when there is a death in the village well they are all involved. So nice to see family values still exist. No retirement homes the family take care, the old are not simply discarded once there old. Thanks for watching

Thanks 👍 for your comment, it is a small mower for the size of grassed area but keeping on top of it helps. It was my wife's idea to have grass as it keeps the dust down many other villagers consider it unnecessary as it take away working time to cut the grass. It does look better than just hardcore or soil.

I agree 100% we have just had a storm here in Rayong 2 hrs over and done with garden watered and blue skys are almost back. Sat on my veranda drinking coffee watching the storm

Having built my own house in the UK and renovated a few I am quite handy at this stuff, but age is creeping up on me and one day the body will not be working as it should be. I will then hang up my tool belt but until that day I will tackle almost everything. Cutting the grass with UK radio 2 in my ear phones helps the work get done.

@@RetiredandLivingthedream I know the feeling regarding old age. Its funny I have 3 day drive south up to Chiang Rai I always save podcasts from home and listen on the car radio. Its blessings of modern technology you can keep in touch with whats going on if you want. 18 year's ago a simple phone call home was nearly impossible but now its like phoning next-door.

14 rai in Thailand is considered quite a large sized family farm. It looks like it is in the village so probably red chanot with title so worth quite a lot. Also see a Kubota so that would be considered a wealthy Thai family. It is better than cash in a bank because it can always bring food to the table.

Her mum and dad have another 20 Rai 10 min away, They are almost self sufficient, fruit veg rice chicken and we did a couple of lakes for them so plenty of fish and higher value crops because of the water supply, ploys parents are so hard working down to earth and good people. I always feel welcome here.

Hi Dave, next door have goats we had cows that kept the grass down but Ploys dad suffers from Gout now so we sold the cows much to the delight of the chickens as they got a bigger hen house, The rats are for eating they sell here for more than chicken. I was going to call after visiting a friend in Kohn Kaen but your away. we will cross paths again one day. Your sea view looks great. Enjoy, did you father in law catch any fish with his net???
