I need to take time to mention Noah James portrayal of Andrew. I don't think I've said anything because Andrew is the kind of person that we all take for granted because he's always the nice guy and the easy-going guy. The one that doesn't cause a fuss and is dependable and always has a kind word and a friendly expression on his face four people he interacts with. I love the look he gives Matthew when Jesus calls him. The willingness to forgive and to trust the Lord when going in a way he wouldn't expect is so special. It warms my heart and Noah James is playing him so beautifully! And I love how different he is from Peter when it comes to instant obedience when Jesus asks something of them. I am so glad that we are seeing something about Andrew and that Noah James is playing him! I can't imagine the chosen without Noah James as Andrew! We have a wonderful cast in this amazing series and I don't want to only focus on the ones that are in the spotlight the most because they are ALL so special! May God continue to bless this production and its crew and to protect them all ♥

Andrew is so important, he is the one who brought Peter to Jesus. His character can be so much to emulate, not the headline grabber or the one with the "big ministry" but the one who if missing could mean that one with the "big ministry" doesn't. Great encouragement for all the small background people in any setting who may not get the attention but without whom stuff doesn't happen. I can just imaging the pleasure Jesus had with Andrew and still does with all the Andrews today. They do what He asks of them and they will hear the "Well done" from The Master. If you are an Andrew, keep on Andrewing.

Thank you for letting us into some of the glories and mundanities of The Chosen's production. Every snippet of the script or fragment of a roughly-cut scene is always exciting - most shows never give fans this much. Thank you also for letting us into some conversations on set so we can be reminded that they're actors trying their best. Jonathan Roumie's struggle to represent Christ to the world is in some sense the struggle of all of us. For every single Christian it's a privilege beyond what we can deserve and a calling we can't achieve apart from God's help. It's also just fascinating seeing what goes into a production like this - raking roads, waiting for clouds to pass, attempting to make animals do what you want. It's very rare to see such a detailed glimpse like this into a TV show's production and even rarer that it's a historical show with all the numerous challenges that entails. These videos are a lot of fun to watch; thank you to everyone who films, edits and releases them.
