Thanks for your review. I just bought the same one off of ebay for $139. They said it might have some scratches or other minor cosmetic problems, but I can't find any. I am missing one screw hole filler that you take out to put on the handle, so I guess I'll have to send it back - just kidding! So far it seems to be working fine, so I am extremely happy with this purchase! I will be using it on my monohull sailboat so the ability for it to work on an angle while I'm heeling over is important. My system in the past was to use freezer packs from a little AC freezer I have and put them in a highly insulated cooler (similar to a Yeti), but they take up a fair amount of room and it takes time and effort to switch the warm ones with the newly cold ones. I'm looking forward to just putting in the food and drinks and put the temperature where I want it. With Eco mode I should never have to worry about the battery running low at night, especially since it uses such a small amount of wattage even at max power.

I've got the AJ40 and it's come in clutch on a few longer trips. Even good if you're running errands and need to make some stops after hitting the grocery store.

Great idea. We brought it with us to a trip to Costco and it was great to keep items cold on the way home.

Great review! I may just have to use the coupon code myself! I hope you had a great road trip!!

It was a game changer on our road trip so we just bought a larger SetPower dual zone one for camping.

We have been using a Setpower 45L fridge for the past year and it has worked flawlessly. I had researched several refrigerators and decided on the Setpower for a few reasons. First was the fact that they use the danfoss compressor, which is top of the line and second was the value. We don't use the wire basket as it takes up a little extra space and will put warm pop in the non refrigerated side just to start to get it cool and cycle it into the fridge as we drink. It works great for us. You will love it.

We have loved it so far. Even bought another one that is dual zone so we can have frozen items too.

I hope you had a book or something. You didn't just stare at the temperature gauge for 40 minutes, did you? 😀

I wonder how long it will stay cold when it's not running
@GloriousDayAdventures10 ай бұрын
We can leave it in the truck for a few hours and it only goes up 5-10 degrees without getting power.

We can keep it in the back of the truck, instead of our cooler.

,? So when you unplug it how long does it remain cool… or should it frost and then maybe last longer?
@GloriousDayAdventures7 ай бұрын
I don’t know exact time but it did seem to stay cold pretty long if you keep it closed. I’d say at least a few hours, with it going up a few degrees at a time.

I was wondering how loud the compressor is when running. Have you measured how many decibels it emits? I have the AJ40, and it seems to run rather loudly (~50-60dB).
@GloriousDayAdventures2 күн бұрын
We haven't measured it. Not sure how to go about doing that. We don't have anything to compare it too but we thought it was pretty quiet.
@markbielawski2 күн бұрын
@GloriousDayAdventures I ended up getting a second one, and it ran at around 40-42dB. I returned the louder one. To measure, I just used an app on my phone.
