Thanks Ellen. You are correct, this is a lot to remember. I "bookmark" videos like this and save them to my "iPhone/iMac issues" folder. Again, thanks for the effort.

Thank you for the videos. Question: Why should anyone want refress in the background?

Thank you so much!😊 I have Refresh on and it doesn’t affect my battery life much.

Good morning from China. Here is one for you Ellen as a man totally new to the iPhone. Is it possible to completely control it with some kind of PC link to the phone with software, or does the iPhone have anything like this built in. Siri is still zooming in and out for me. Oh, my wife noticed that if the iPhone does not have the zoom buttons on the touch screen as apparently older models one of which I have been given then Siri gets very annoyed, tries to make me go elsewhere and does not zoom. Those icons need to be present on the screen for Siri to do zoom in and out voice commands. I have never been an apple fan since the pad I had refused to download older versions of apps, as apple would rather I buy a new pad LOL. Hence my decade of experience with android. Anyway forgot to tell you about the zoom icons and Siri. I am currently in possession of four phones for work, and just hit lucky with using one that Siri works on the cam and video.

Sorry Conspiracy Pundit… I’m not sure I understand everything you’re asking. I don’t think you can access your iPhone via PC you can access iCloud via PC. I’m very confused on your Siri questions concerning Zoom???

@@EllensTipsForiOS Older iphones do not have onscreen icons to zoom. If you own a phone that does not have the icons SIRI will not perform the voice command function for zoom out or zoom in. I hope that explains it better. Now if you have those icons and have a programmable Bluetooth controller you can set each button to each corresponding onscreen icon. Because I am a newbie, the blutooth controller only had one button I could assign this function to, so useless, hence my using Siri voice commands instead. Once I have learned OBS I will not use the iPhone at all for live streaming and all this will no longer be a problem as everything can be done using the PC and webcams. When I was 12 I was given my first set of keys, then you are their slave, I feel the same way about phones both iPhone and android. I now have a big bunch of keys and a phone I must always carry around with me always LOL. And have to suffer every other person walking around like zombies with their faces glued to their phones, or taking snapshots and posting every single meal they eat. If you have ever gone out with a group of friends for a meal and they spend the entire time posting to friends that are not there and ignore the friends that are you will understand. As I age my grumpy nature accelerates along with it 😆

Now I think I understand!🤣 We are certainly slaves to our devices and I’m definitely at an age where when I’m with friends I’d prefer no phones. How old is your device that can’t use the voice command for Zooming. I wonder if that’s the issue. I hope you can figure it out. OBS sounds like your best option for Live Streaming. I use Ecamm Live.
