Wow I never thought of putting a drum dampener on a banjo. Very interesting. Beautiful instruments.

Hey Jim 😄you don’t know me, but I’m a huge fan of your work! I stumbled across your work years ago when I first bought a tenor banjo (I didn’t realize you can’t really play bluegrass on a four string 😅) but your videos encouraged me an pushed me to buy a five string!😄I’ve watched your cripple creek tutorials so many times I can practically say the words right along with ya 😅 thanks for making the best tutorials on KZbin!😄

great video Jim. i love the looks of the Mulheron banjo's. those stained heads are awesome, so unique. Lindsey is definitely an artist and craftsman. may be in the market for one in the near future.

I see he's a drop thumb guy and designs his necks accordingly in some cases. Is there any reason these banjos wouldn't be just as suitable for 3 finger or melodic playing? I'm guessing it doesn't matter one bit but I wanted to ask regardless. Thanks Jim!
