Great video! I got one (BEIGNE AV LEI) with an aqua jacket from my local Target. I fell in love with the long hair because it's super silk and soft! I really love her! I bought my first fresh doll for three dollars on sale, what a coincidence lol. The face looks pretty good honestly. The other dolls look good too. I'm honestly surprised that these were actually the Fresh Dolls because they look so radically different but I'm loving this new direction they're taking. I'll definitely be on the lookout for them👀

The knee on my Fresh doll snapped off when I tried to bend it a little. I was very shocked, as I wasn't putting very much pressure on. It cannot be fixed the way it snapped off. Super bummed!

Hey Brooke, I know this is a specialized patent pending hair, but do you think it feels like a preexisting hair type just manufactured differently like Saran that is spun is such a way( just a random example) to make this or like a totally completely new hair fibre. Just wanted to know your opinions.

I felt it may have been disrespectful to show myself unraveling the hair to investigate but my doll had some hair that was too long that I cut and investigated. It's VERY different. Much drier than any fiber I'm used to- also textured! Which makes sense to keep the style.... I honestly think it's something brand new! It didn't feel quite as thick and slick as poly or nylon and not as thin as saran. The closest thing to it is braiding kanekalon made for people (completely unlike doll kanekalon- way thicker). If I had to guess it is that! It holds its style EXTREMELY well. I completely untwisted the piece I had and it went right back into its style. I'm very impressed with the fiber. It's a shame larger companies haven't really tried quite like The Fresh Dolls has with the likely MUCH more limited budget, resources and connections they have. Seriously commendable

I think fresh is the first doll to create locs in the modern play line market. I kinda had a similar thought to the braiding hair kanekelon, I do wonder since they are wanting a patent on this specific hair type that they will keep this hair fibre a “secret.” Lol idk I probably should just contact Dr.Lisa and see what she says.

The Fresh boys (forgot the name rn) that they sell on their website, the fresh black panther dolls and some of the regular ones have this type of loc I’m pretty sure so at least you have a lot of options! :D I really hope they can get more licenses like the Black Panther dolls because DAMN they hit it out of the park

Ive seen exactly TWO unboxing videos for this series of dolls. Yours and one other. Both have had problems with the legs. Yours wouldnt bend at the knee and the other youtubers doll wouldnt bend at the knee and half her leg fell off. Of course I find this out AFTER purchasing one. 2 videos. Same problem. Not good no matter how cute the dolls are........

Oh no :( I always assume it’s just a defect with mine that’s a huge shame. Perhaps if you contact the company they may be able to rectify it? I’ve had this issue with a few doll brands (Winx, Disney ILY…) so I’m used to it but it’s absolutely not cool

Well it’s very common for brand new doll lines specifically to have problems like this. RH couldn’t even move their double joints correctly- it was terrible.
