Here's what I do when it's stinking humid. We need to fix our air in our truck. I get those small bottles of water and freeze 6 or 7 . I have a rag and wrap one in each rag and put them under my arms. It helps alot.

picked up something yesterday that very few scrapers can say they have ever picked up. I'm cleaning up at our local schools bus barn and picked up a 8ft tall by 4ft by 6ft wide monkey cage. All stainless steel and heavy.

Good run I did not find much today but one stop right on top was a very long piece of copper from a water line they replaced. It was pretty heavy and I bent it to load in my car. That was my top prize today.

Humidity makes it 100x worse - it is like melting hot. I have been out in AZ and it is hot but you dont sweat buckets like you do in the humidity. Not that it isnt hot there but just different

Hey Nacho, you had a great day out started out slow but got a lot better. Those Owls were cool you never know what your going y find out there. About the Steel Toe Boots, there good but if something really heavy falls on it might clamp on your foot. Just get a heavy duty boot

Shaun try the Timberlands with titanium metal. Comes in tennis shoes too. That's what I where everyday to work. Lightweight because of titanium and so very comfortable. Walk a warehouse (kohler) all day for 10-15 hours. So Lightweight. Add another in sole if you want it's Heavenly. Also water resistant

The flat big screens do not have much in them. A handful of boards - if they are older they might have some aluminum too. I do not have a great source for ewaste so I dont bother with them.

I'm shocked, you had that trailer packed all around that shower door glass & it didn't break but you try to take them apart & they break/ shatter. I always took those bed frames apart easy but everyone is different, glad your getting a lot of metal, rock on brother. What a mess you have on there. Could have put dryer on front of trailer, the tongue part.

You can splice a new cord onto the item if you want to use it. The cord is worth about $1 a pound and it adds up fast. The batteries are similar - I get between $1.25 and $5 per battery. As long as you do not cut the cord inside the cars compartment the person would just buy a new battery. They normally would want a new one anyways so it holds a better charge. That is one reason I do not clip the wiring in the cars. Anyway you look at it - they are saving most of it from the landfill since it is highly likely that they will be picked up by the garbage man and not by another person - I do try to leave stuff so others can still use them if I leave them behind. EVERY time you try to remove the aluminum from the glass doors I cringe waiting for your hand to slip and it cut your wrist! You should warn us by saying something like "Nothing sketchy about this... Don't look mom!" 😬

LMAO - If it makes you feel better - almost all the glass is tempered so i will not cut my wrists - it will just make a huge mess.
