Thanks man. I have been doing this for 27 years now. I’m 46 and my body doesn’t have any issues. I figure I am old enough now and have learned enough to show the younger generations there is money to be made of you can produce a nice product.

Hi Leo Do you have any advice with painting after all the drywall finishing has been completed? I’m devastated that my ceiling square set corners are peeling when I spray and backroll. (I spent so much time getting them perfect) I think it’s dust but no matter if I brush, wipe with a cloth or vacuum, the sanded all purpose compound just keeps creating more dust

Dust shouldn’t create an issue with spraying an application. Most of the painters that paint behind us, use a high quality primer. So after you prime it, is the paint flaking off?

@@manwithapan I’m using a high quality water based sealer primer undercoat. Diluted 50:50 for a mist coat so it soaks in the mud. Sprayed looks great, then I backroll for better adhesion. It pulls off on some sections on my ceiling inside edges. As if the mud completely and cleanly rejects the primer. Other patches soak in nicely

@@Tigerratcat here are my thoughts again I don’t do this professionally, if paint is setting up a bit to long before back rolling, I know it will pull it off the mud. Whenever I have sprayed with someone, I backroll immediately after the other person is spraying. Paint is wet and can’t pull.

@@Tigerratcat The only times I’ve ever seen mud flake after being primed, it’s because it was damp. If this is happening to you quite a bit, I would check the product or have somebody get involved from the manufacture of the paint company. All primer for Drywall should bond
