Plants have helped me the same way. My collection started when I was taking care of my aunt who eventually passed from breast cancer. I could care for and keep a plant alive when I knew I couldn’t do that for my aunt. So I have always loved plants but I really love them for being my therapy.

My mama's plants have done the same for me. She's been gone a year and her spider plant, that she had longer since I've been alive, never bloomed until this past year, giving me little spider plant babies that I have propagated and that I'm going to give to my aunts and my mother-in-law as sentimental Christmas gifts.

I don't usually comment but girl I'm so glad you exist. First your fun shorts caught my attention, I think I was researching for my first ever flower pot care tips when I saw you and you, your love for plants, your plant rescues and your personality caught my attention and it was because of your rescues that I ever thought it wasn't too late and maybe I can become a good "plant mom". I wanted to get plants for the longest time and felt to overwhelmed and afraid they would die like the usually did... Anyways, I committed to my small flower pot journey and subscribed and repotted my flowers today (thanks to your tips) then I wanted to check your channel for a thorough guideline on plants, I watched your first long video and I had no idea you were in this time of your life and got to know you better and got more emotionally invested. Your enthusiasm for plants is the first I ever saw, it's refreshing and hope-giving. I thank you and rush you all the best just imagine I gave you a virtual hug. sorry for your loss and keep on being you. Thank you. (I haven't checked if you did but puh-leaaase do a dumb-proof video for beginners on how to care for plants, thank yooooou)

Krystal!! I have to really thank you. Thanks to you I've been constantly buying, caring and putting effort into plant care. It's been quite a rough year, where I felt little to no control over my life and I've got to say taking care of plants has made my monkey brain release an appropriate dosage of endorphins, and that I truly needed. Also mistakes happen and I will gladly share my terrible plant parenting because we're all in the same boat: I mist my begonia wightii for a month before discovering it was one of the biggest no-nos for begonias and now she has crispy brown leaves all over her. It's comforting to see that even the plant queen herself happens to have a misstep once in a while...

🎥🌺💃 Intro suggestion alert, Krystal! You can start the video with an edit where you have the first cut as “I did an oopsies, a big oopsies with my string of hearts.” Then cut to “Hi, if you’re new here my name is Krystal and I go by Plants with Krystal.” And continue the video from there. I’ve seen other creators do this. Gives us a flavour of the video, tickles us with a chuckle, and eliminates the awkward “how to start the video” problem. I’ll watch the rest later because I have some work to do but I wanted to drop the suggestion. Look forward to some plant edu-ma-cation later!
