I am waiting for the day I see you building a living wall in your house. Like one of those ones where the entire wall Is plants and has a water feature in it to keep the plants watered.

Alocasias just do what they want 😂 Mine randomly started growing a bunch and now looks really healthy after it died down to 1 leaf.. but I didn't do anything!

Somehow my plants always used to end up with pests as I’m also a chronic overwaterer so I moved most of my plants into water and they’ve been doing so incredibly well. I treat them with neem oil every week and shower them once a month and change the water once every 1/2 weeks. I still have my first 2 plants from 5 years ago and I love propagating. Taking care of them makes my head feel quiet and it feels very rewarding. Honestly one of the best things for mental health!

My alocasia is doing terrible, I figured it was transfer shock, now I got a huge gnat problem and thrips, monitoring whether they got to the alocasia too but I've lost 2 leaves on one variety and am on my 3rd leaf for the second variety. Maybe the watering is infrequent? They just yellow slowly for days then are fully yellow the next and gone not much after. Man, alocasias scare me

I saved a mini swiss minstera from walmart for 10 bucks. Brought it home and watered it. Its still sitting in the pot i bought it in and its throwing off new growth everywhere. Im so mad that they charge us so much money for these plants that they arent even watering.

I know this sounds like abuse but I’ve had my snake plant for about two years and I’ve only watered it 5 or 10 times and I place it in a dark corner. My plant is absolutely thriving and it blooms. I think that they are just impossible to kill

Plant leaves come in different texture (and orchid top leaves are to be cleaned only, not underside.) Please do a video of how to clean different types of leaves unless there’s only one way of cleaning leaves no matter what kind of texture they are as far as like smooth versus fuzzy? I’m not sure if there are different kinds of textured leaves, but if you can do a video of how to properly clean different types of plant leaves as well as getting rid of any bugs/pests, please.😅😬

I have found pon to be the best for my alocasia. It really takes the guess work out of watering for such a finicky plant.

These are native to more humid Asian climates is what I’ve read and are used to a lot of moisture. We have an elephant ear variety that is growing fast and huge and at first it could only support 3 leaves and would purposely kill off one to grow the next bigger leaf but now it’s got 5 healthy big leaves. The biggest one is the size of like a full big backpack so it’s getting big.

So it’s actually totally ok for BoP leaves to rip and they’re actually designed to do that! However, I do understand not wanting rips for aesthetic reasons :)

I started using pon about 3 months ago. All of my plants that were transferred are growing now. I like using pon. I wash a couple of cupfuls at a time outside in a strainer. What i don't use, i store in a container. But i know that if it's in the container, it has been washed.
