I spent so much time in the Lake District growing up, same with somerset as well. Special place with a lot of nostalgia value. One thing I miss being back in the UK (stupid laws aside) Is the huge amount of walking I used to do. Sometimes it just gets too damn hot here and the city is so polluted that your only option is the boring treadmill 😴

@@Archetype_EDC The Treadmill is Soul Destroying! During Covid I discovered the Countryside is 45 Seconds away so now can just walk out of the front door. Its York, so its flat, but still beautiful.

@@bigjohn3038 yea I have so so many benefits living where I am currently (low cost of everything across the board) and very peaceful mindspace, but damn I miss walking across Hyde park nearly every day, not to mention others like Richmond park and our at least once a month excursions out to the countryside. I think before you found the channel it was one of the worst hot seasons ever here, I was complaining in nearly all of my videos 🤣. Sadly had to have the treadmill as my only means of getting those kilometres in. Glad you appreciate your time out in the countryside, people sometimes forget how beautiful the landscapes can be in England.

@@bigjohn3038 My brother who lives in Bath has been sending me a lot of pictures from his hikes recently (I also have a place over there, so that when or if I go back, I wont be in London). They are all exceptionally beautiful Makes me miss being able to walk all day without sweating like a madman. Never been to York so that will be somewhere to visit in the future
