@@sizzling.pancake I ended up ordering the Satin Blade Django XL with the orange peel textured titanium handle. I saw a nice pick of it and decided to get that instead of the diamond textured handle. They shipped it from Hong Kong. I’ll probably end up having to pay an import fee to DHL or something.

@@gOOnz901 it’s not quite huge, but it is quite sizeable. It is very nice every day picking what I’m going to carry, almost like a watch. But thankyou I do really love nearly all of them (there are a few I want to sell but can’t currently because of where I live) Carrying the cold steel full metal atlas today, and of course the delica as always in my left pocket *edit: I’m not sure if it was knife of the year, but for sure it was up there with some of the best. Probably the vision fg was the knife of the year in 2023

@@Archetype_EDC compared to mine you have a much larger collection. All I have is spyderco and Demko. I’m trying to branch out now. To add some other makers . I have 4 demko’s and 4 spyderco’s so far. Two ad20s and two ad20.5 two pm2 and two pm3. Well 5 spyderco’s I have a lil native also.

@@gOOnz901 tbh all you really need is Spyderco and a few Demko's. Should keep you covered for your whole life and still be in good enough condition to hand down. Any ideas for other brands though if you are going to branch out a bit?

So, couple questions: is the cf textured ? Hard to tell , definitively , in pics . I'm hoping not . Which Kunwu blade shape is your favorite ? As far as the rants and tangents , I get more from that, than specs and facts . I generally know those , or could get them from a spec sheet . Rant on . I find MC's comments , "Stop typing! " , etc , amusing. I think they give insight into what must be an endless queue of borderline unhinged comments , left by members of the Legion of the Perpetually Offended . I find those people simply love it , when you point and laugh . I'm sure it makes them feel "seen". A couple of video subjects I would find interesting, are , a discussion of blade coatings , and crazy comments . Dealing with the general public can either annoy or amuse. I choose amusement. Always.

Haha, yea the whole crazy comments thing would be funny, but I think i'll stay away from that because I know it will just invite more negative attention. Kinda tedious to check my notifications and just see people going absolutely insane in my video comment section (this was happening a lot about a month ago and I found it really offputting) Not much of a social media guy, so I like to keep any drama as far away as possible. You should see some of the drivel on my far bigger facebook art page, I used to screenshot some of the more whacky ones but I just dont bother nowadays. I know that the specs are an easy one but not everyone is as clued in as you lol (just as an example, someone asked me the other day on a very old video I made called 'The Benchmade Bugout vs The Kershaw Bel Air' to put links to the knives... It was like, man just open a new tab and put their names in. Anyways Ive started to link everything in my descriptions lately because I want to and also im starting to finally get paid from affiliate links. Anyways that was a long one. The CF that Kunwu put out is flat basket weave, no texturing on it. I still like it a lot and the grip is great and lightweight. And blade coatings is indeed a good idea for a future video, Ill have to do a bit of research on that. I havent done any steel discussion videos in a while so I need to do one of those. Favourite kunwu blade shape is hard to choose, but its a definite mix up between the django, the pulsar and the Padre. Pretty much everything they make is a winner. Anyways that was a long reply 😅, could say more but i'll end it there for now

I just ordered the Kunwu Pulsar XL on your recommendation, in G mascus black and red. Looks amazing. Not many places have it, I got from White Mountain Knives. Have you checked out the Artisan Cutlery Ornis in S90V and titanium? I just received. Stunning, amazing slicer.

Hey, thats great to hear then. The Pulsar XL is a beast of a knife, the red gmascus one looks and feels amazing. And yea sure I've had my eye on the Ornis for a while, maybe if they are still in stock next year I might get one. My reason being is that I have the Frack in S90V which is very similar to that except with a frag pattern on the handle (also looks cooler overall in my opinion) so I saw the two of them being quite similar. I have a whole bunch of titanium and S90V things arriving in from Artisan soon so lets see, the ornis can wait till next year perhaps 😅 But yea it does look like one awesome slicer, absolutely love that steel as well. Enjoy your pulsar xl when it arrives! (would also recommend getting a regular sized one if thats too big)

Ahh yes the Frack. I saw yours and wanted it but was sold out so got the Ornis instead. I like the full size /XL knives generally. I just have a couple of 3 inch blades for if I'm up in L.A. with the 3 inch limit they have. One of them is the CJRB bowie pyrite in S90v from BHQ. Another recommendation from you. Great little knife

@@AndrewStafford1 Yea the S90V Frack is completely sold out, they only have the steel handled/ARRPM9 one which is way heavier. The Ornis is always what ive recommended to people that want to get the Frack but cant because theres no more stock on the titanium ones. Shame really because its a beautiful knife, would be nice if they restocked the S90V versions (but they probably wont, knowing their track record of letting a knife go once its sold out from their stock warehouse) Glad you got some knives you enjoy from the video's recommendations!

Absolutely! Really appreciate your videos. Just picked up a Para 3 to go with my Para 2. I'm out of control 😅 I'm actually trying to sell about 15 knives because I just bought whatever when I first started collecting. The apple test is one I like - if it won't easily cut through an apple, it doesn't have good geometry and probably shouldn't be in my collection.

@@AndrewStafford1 hehe we all go through phases where there’s an intense want to splurge on as many knives as possible. It will pass after a while, sounds like you are picking up some nice pieces lately though. I still don’t have a regular para 3 and probably never will, 3 lightweight ones are more than enough 😅 And of course thanks again, I do make a lot of these videos for people to find EDC options that they may like!
