For the most part most of the hives are looking pretty good. Considering those hives got little to no attention I would say they are survivor stock if they make it through the rest of the winter. Thanks for sharing my friend.

Hey👋👋glad your back.the lack of rain can cause poor pollen and nectar in the fall i use regular patties they need the nutrients. I also insulate my inner covers just common sense .putting wood chips and other things in to absorb mositure is backwards .its storing mositure 🤔doesnt take a rocket scientist to understand that. Air flow and keeping the warm and cold reaction on inner cover stops excess moisture period!!!!.Ill be watching for videos always enjoy your content. 🐝safe and keep your smoker lit! Konrad

Do you have trouble with the wrong type of bees? I read that they don't like to go very far north because they can't take the cold. I am trying to learn about the bees.

No. Occasionally wasp or hornets will get into my traps. Yellow Jackets like to rob, but no problems with africanized honeybees.
