Black cat nero is originally an italian "children's" song called 'i wanted a black cat' that actually has been translated to sooo many language's (including mine [finnish]) so i was so surprised when they did this. And a korean duo group called turbo did a korean hip-hop/dancepop version of it in 1995. One of the members of the duo Kim Jongkook appeared on the preformance video! Ateez preformed this song originally on immortal songs where jongkook was a guest judge(worth to check out its one of my fav preformances of theirs)

not only was he a guest judge, but the entire episode was based on his groups' discography. Every contestant performed a song by Turbo.....Kim Jongkook was so taken by their performance that he agreed to the Black Cat Nero MV as well as other song collabs and inviting San to a show he is a famous host for

kpop groups dont usually have a dancer in place of the missing member, but (i assume) since jongho was sitting out and mingi was absent they would have had to change the choreo too much to make up for the empty space, when this performance already had an altered choreo to accommodate the halloween vibes

Omg I love vampire Deja vu so much 😍😍😍😍black cat Nero is legit THE Halloween song!!! It’s been covered a bunch of times in different languages and Ateez did it for a music competition show they were on called immortal songs! That live (it is fully live) is INSANE!!!! Especially Jonghos high note at the end. Each round of immortal songs features a different famous Korean singer or group, and the contestants invited have to cover one of their songs for the competition. Ateez has been on Immortal songs a bunch of times and won most of those times! And Jongho has gone and competed on the show as a soloist before too. This round of Immortal songs was for the group Turbo, who first covered this song in Korean years ago. One of the members of Turbo is who came to life in the music video! Ateez’s performance of this song on the show went so viral that they decided to make this performance video for it.

2:00 one thing that set Ateez apart from the rest of the crowd at the time was that they were not afraid to look scary and freaky. Seonghwa genuinely looks CRAZY in this fancam, and Hongjoong is actually the joker im convinced, I run a small tik tok account and I put the wonderland performance with an ICP song and the fact that it fit so well just made it extra freaky lol Also who's here watching the halloween deja vu performance after PINK SEONGHWA HAS RETURNED (in a wig, but in a glorious PINK wig)

With "Black Cat Nero" - the guy that pops up at the end like a freaking Dracula is one of the members of 1st gen kpop group Turbo, Kim Jongkook. He's currently still a singer, an entertainer and known as one of the buffest ppl there is. They were the original ones that made the song, and this is basically a remake where they got him to do it as a way of collaborating, where they joined him in one of his songs (I believe it's called "Be My Lover") The Danish version of this song is about a cat dancing tango... don't ask me why lol Wonderland and Black Cat Nero will forever be my favourites among all their songs bc of their rock elements, and for being creepy as hell with these performances. I'm SO happy you checked these out Hunter! I cannot wait for you to see all the other videos (personally I'm waiting for you to get wrecked by Bouncy) I'll be waiting~~

Trust me no one will judge you if you say who your bias or wreckers are and change them later cause most atiny's can never choose just one. exactly like i remember back in 2019 my bias would change every minute and i couldn't choose for life but if i had to pick, i'd say i have a yunho lean? now kind of properly getting back to them again, my ult is wooyoung (boi grabbed me by the neck and went heyyy were have you been) and i think my bias line would be yunwoosan? but idk irdk i love all of them so much i am just constantly attacked left and right

@rivertothemoon When I first got into ateez, Mingi was my bias and Hongjoong was my wrecker. Now a whole year later, Mingi is still my ult, my bias line is yunwoogi, and the rest of them are all wreckers. I'm dancing on that ot8 line, but I haven't crossed over yet.

If you liked black cat Nero I recommend the live performance!! Their acting is amazing and Jonghos high notes are soooo good!! Seonghwa’s fancam for the Wonderland performance is awesomely creepy. I love it! Ateez Logbook 75 has the behind the scenes of the bondage vampire version of Deja Vu and it is so funny/adorable. I love the immersed Seonghwa + silly Yeosang part.

Again, this is my first ATEEZ reaction too haha. This groups choreography and stage presence is INSANE!! 🔥 The Black Cat Nero absolutely ATE!! Genuinely think this group is something I could get into and would actively go out of my way to listen to on the daily. The stylists seem to love putting Yeosang in capes. He got one for Vampire Deja Vu and he also has one in Crazy Form. I stand relatively firm in my Seonghwa bias, but recently, the other 7 are seriously wrecking me. I think they created the choreography for Black Cat Nero really quickly - something like 2 hours. I can recognize the arm swings from the end of Thanxx and part of Michael Jackson's Thriller.

Have you seen the ATEEZ's HALA HALA Show Music core 20190302 aka the Red Suit performance? Because it's a must! And fitting the theme of this video ;) Great choise on bias! (i mean there's no bad choise, obviously) For me it was Hongjoong and Seonghwa from the start, from the very first video I saw from them. And I was sooo content for over a year with my two biases and no wreckers...until our sneaky, soft, gentle little Yeosang someone wiggled his way into an official wrecker. And then I saw ATEEZ live, and came out of the concert having to admit that yeah, Yeosang is my third bias. And now Ive been happy with my three biases for over two years - I dont really have wreckers (not since Sangie), but I get why so many atiny does or just is ot8. As I said, there's no bad choises here :3
