Hey, a question Lys K music: like with Spitfire Audio, does Augmented Orchestra have a dynamic range on the longs? So moving modulation / expression wheels / sliders to control different dynamic layers?

That is the best sounding, best laid out, ensemble library I've seen/heard in a VERY long time - I am REALLY excited about this one! A little pricey for me - I'm going to have to wait until payday - But I think this will be well worth it. That harmonizer is a nice added feature too. Great detailed review - I've watched most of it twice!

@@es__music That was what I did, so speaking from the experience ☝️🤖 Prepare a 1Tb SSD (some guy made a calculation, which was around 700Gb, actually. Even a “simple” one OSC retro synth weights a ton because of truthful, high-quality sampling, so you got a most impressive, historically accurate sound, CPU friendly, but with less control over modulation and hungry for disc space) because you surely want to check everything that comes with a subscription, and boy oh boy, what do they have for you!

Really good review coverage. I am looking at the UVI plug-ins for the first time and wondering how is the CPU load compared to other orchestral plug-ins, I have Cremora Quartet, and it is very CPU intensive much more so than the play engine orchestras as an example.

Is it possible to adjust sample start offset?

Unfortunately I found it very hard to use. The volume of each layer would not adjust and the UI was so complex. Also it has no previews for each preset and every-time I loaded a preset, it took about 6 seconds to load. Literally quicker to lay down a spitfire strings long patch and an Omnisphere synth patch. The concept is great though, but the time it takes to design something, the spark is gone.
