When you apply loctite , you are now using what is considered a “wet” torque. 100ft lbs is already 17ft lbs over what spec calls for. So with a “wet” torque (with the loctite, it’s like adding another 10-15% to the torque value. Now the studs are seeing approximately 110-115ft lbs of torque., which is way over the spec of 83ft lbs.

The 727 in my wagoneer was easier than my ax15 which I am not finished with yet. I don't feel like doing it yet. I need to change out some leafs in the rear of wagoneer. Sagging wagon. I need to find hub centric rims for rear of wagoneer. Have some chevy spare rims that won't fit the front because tie rod on back now. I slide tire under vehicle. Usually don't have jack stand. Just cheap insurance in case jack fails. Had a jack collapse under jeep and one sunk under a jeep. Make sure you retorque your tires on spacers after a 100 miles. Had a tire once pass me going down the road. It was my own tire too.

my biggest issue with the 727 is motivation. I have done some work on it but it is not 100% yet. I like the look of the spacers so far but I should of went with the 1 inch instead of the 1.25. But we are learning. Thanks for watching and good luck on the Sagging Wagon.

they are a bit on the pricey side but cheaper then the wheels I wanted. I have been running mine for over a while now. if you break it down by day. they are just getting cheaper. :) I think a regear is going to be next on my list of things to do. So the wheels will be put on hold for a bit. Good luck and thanks for the watch.

@@5LakesGarage My situation is similar. I’m ok with the factory wheels wrapped in 265/70/17 just looking to widen the stance just a little.

I am still looking as well. I wonder if I can find a machine shop or maybe I can justify a lathe. :) If you do find some, please let us know and we will do the same.
