The Klein (and those nearly new) DeathGrip tires was the best! 26" Ain't dead yet!

@T H nah i can still make it work. my 26er still works like a charm and the rei i work at still carries decent tires, my fork works great, and my rims are still working enough to get by. plus, i think it’s hilarious having a 52 tooth cassette on a 26er wheel

26" freeride and dj bikes are far from dead. Probaly more people into them in the last few years then ever. And if you cant find 26" tires, your not dedicated or looking hard enough. As far as 1 1/8 forks, I personally dont have that issue, My 26" 2014 Scott voltage has a 1.5 head tube top and bottom so I can fit any type of forks I want, just need to use the equivalent headset setup. If you need any bike parts you can't find locally, go online, ebay, bike sites, craigslist locally or a couple cities over, you'll find what you want. Just gotta want it and be dedicated. 97% of the other bike parts are interchangeable and can be made to work. It's all personal preference thou, do whatever floats your boat and have fun, that's what it's all about.✌

This was so good... I nerded out so hard seeing the older bikes mixed with new tech. Now i have some new pranks to pull in the shop (zip tying suspension pivot bolts together)

To the dude with the Klein: Rockshox Recol Rl comes in 27.5 100mm with a straight steerer tube - I put it on my old 26” yeti to run a mullet and it worked out really well

I love these daily driver vids , to me it gets back to what biking was or should be ... enjoy riding what you have , we're all getting to caught up in tech with this seasons must haves which I think is detracting away from what's more important .... to just have fun riding .

There still are thousands of mt bikers on 26 inch bikes, tire companies should keep making 26" stuff at least for the next 5 years, now I have 1.75 road tires on my ironhorse warrior, wich is terrible, but I have not other way to go :(

Water bottle got whatever weird pink drink sea otter was giving out. Backpack gets water for longer rides (which we were headed out for) but often I just bring it empty for tools/tube/snacks
