Sporting events (control of alcohol etc) Act 1985. Cant consume alcohol within view of playing area 15mins before kick off till 15 mins afterwards. Just for football.

It's against the law. You can't drink alcohol in sight of the field from 15 minutes before Kick Off. Unfortunately in the past we had an awful lot of morons who get completely wasted and start fights so this is one measure to stop it.

This isn't football. Get yourself to a League 2 ground behind the goal, pints in plastic glasses and a pie at half time, you won't even spend £30. The strikers aren't as good, but luckily the defenders aren't either. It's much more fun!
