Checklist for NEW CAR Delivery ft. Proton Saga CKD

I received my Proton Saga CKD unit after one year of waiting. You should check several things in your new car before signing the delivery form to avoid getting cheated. In this video I show you how I inspected my brand new vehicle in Pakistan before taking its delivery.

In Pakistan they don't give the buyers a reasonable quantity of fuel, leave alone the full tank (you can't even imagine it). When I bought my first car back in US as a student from someone (it was 3 yr old Car) the owner (a middle age lady) gave me tough time negotiating it but when the deal was done she profusely apologized as the car didn't have full tank and slipped $20 into my hands to fill it on the way home. When I refused (considering how she haggled on the price) she said it would be bad omen for her so I should take it. Still remember the positive vibes I got from the deal. The car was in amazing condition and I drove it for around 120k miles in next 5 yrs.

If the plastic quality is the same as in Saga Malaysia then there will be no fading of plastics. The Malaysian sun is unforgiving. Remember, this is not a new model. Saga has a very long history in MAlaysia. We also need to keep in mind that Saga is the most basic car Proton offers in Malaysia. It's like their Suzuki Mehran. Saga is not a in the same category as City/Yaris etc in Malaysia. Not even in size. City/Yaris are B segment and Saga is A segment. If Al Haj has kept the same quality as Malaysia then you have bought a work horse that can take beating for many years. All the best and congrats. Allah bless it for you and your family.

I have bought 3 new cars in my life and in process of buying 4th one (Canada). 1. All new cars have kilometres on them. 2. I have never seen a fire extinguisher in a new car. 3. 5 years 150k is amazing. Never heard of it before. Most cars here have 3 years 60k warranty. 4. In your ceramic coating video do a comparison of ceramic vs the other. 5. Many congratulations on this beautiful Car !!!!

@@hassanaftab1270 Yes, i understand that things were difficult due to Corona and i am not negative about it at all. My concerns were with company Al-Haj group and their dealerships because i faced many issues while getting my car (Faw V2) delivered with them and they are the worst group in Auto sector for LTV. I never went back to dealership after getting delivery due to many issues faced after booking. Hope they don't do same with Proton now as they did with FAW.

Congratulations on finally getting the car after a year. The car looks wonderful When I got my city 1.2 A/T 2022, the car ran out of petrol 20 meters before the petrol station. The shame of physically pushing a brand new car is just strange.

2:15 cars usually come to Fateh jang on trailers and then are delivered to showrooms across pindi/isd. So not to worry much. But scratches and electronics should be checked

For people who are asking, if it is normal the car already got 40km mileage, don't worry it is the same evrywhere in the world, cars are always tested before handed to customers. From an overseas Pakistani. It seem Proton is gearing up to delivers cars to customers. Mubarak for your car.

Congratulations! About color quality, what I learnt from a detailing guy is Corolla's paint quality is better than current all Chinese manufacturers. Although he didn't experienced the proton and cherry detailing yet.

Masha Allah. Congrats. You covered it so thoroughly. Better than I could my self. Those wheel nuts shown are only Cosmetic look nothing more. For security there is a Unique wheel nut. Woh hur wheel pur aik laga hotaa hai to secure Good alloy wheels. Don’t know if yours came with it. Fire extinguishers good idea. I live in Europe. Here cars DO Not come with it. May be we are colder areas ..?? But as always great learning exercise from Your Videos.

First of all congratulations. I must say you can be a good pre delivery inspector! 😊. What you did is standard pre delivery inspection by the dealership not the customer. Anyway if there were any problems, initial warranty should cover it. Also there is no zero km or miles car. They are driven around the dealership or off the ship if they are coming from overseas. You should suggest that dealership should give a full tank of petrol because it’s very standard on a new car and it’s a courtesy per dealership! Anyway enjoy it.
