Totally depends on the type of deployment. If your are going for standalone then it is going to be a single one, but if your are going with the distributed deployment model then Mgmt server and gateway are both seperate devices.

sir, I have resolved the internet issue. The actual issue was with my Laptop wifi adaptor. Now I am not able to access internet in vm host. Did the hide nat but still have issue. Any alternate solution?

Hello Sir, at the initial setup of Gateway1 u didnot add the gateway IP in the interface, for which the GUI of gateway is not coming up.

The Default gateway IP is not required to access the GUI from the same network. My PC is in the same network as the management IP of the gateway and the SMS.
