Yeah this one was a bit of a surprise to film as I hadn't scouted it out first! I knew there was stepping stones along the way, but there was quite the bit of scrambling too which I wasn't expecting, was quite tricky holding the camera steady on the slippery rocks!

Very nice walk, but often dangerous!!. I had never seen so many risks of falling, dangers. In some places, walking and filming at the same time was a feat!!. We ended up feeling trapped too and when Dave turned back, I wondered if he was going to find a way out!!. A wild but very beautiful place. Thanks Dave. 😀😀😀😀😀

Lovely video, thanks for sharing. Particular interest to me as I had walked along Chee Dale, Miller's Dale and Cressbrook Dale some 30 years ago in march of 1991. It was nice to compare the stills that I took. The trees have come on well, especially those clinging to the cliffs. But strike those stepping stones have come on a bundle, they were all sizes and shapes those years ago. All the Best, Peter.

This is your best ramble yet. Thanks for the dedication putting this one together. Appreciated. I have gorged myself, (pun intended), on the sights and sounds of this beautifully rugged river trail. Dave, you must be part old hairy mountain goat. That's not a bad effort, holding the camera steady, as you scramble over narrow rocky bits! And just as you think you have gotten away from the madding crowds, some other ramblers appear. Ha ha. It's nice to see that not only the youngsters get out and about too. Dave sees stepping stones in river. Holy F&*%! Negotiate rocks and just keep filming. Banzai!, (slowly and vewwy carefully). Only a 3 out of 5 for difficulty??? What rates as a 5 then?
@DavesWalks3 жыл бұрын
I had no idea it was going to be quite as scrambely as it was! It was a very much a blind walk in that I'd never done it before! Haha and once I had started filming I was quite committed! The camera does a great job at keeping the footage steady, I am most definitely not part mountain goat! I reckon full on climbing mountains will get me some solid 5/5s for difficulty, I hope to do striding edge one day in the Lake district! That, and conquer some of the UKs tallest mountains too!
