I legit love this game and play for a bit each time a big update is dropped. It definitely has a ways to go though before it's complete.

Honestly the “missing something” during clear days could be fixed by foliage, and with the game being low poly alot of foliage probably wouldn’t be hard to run. Alot of areas look barren, the only detail being different colored ground indicating sand or gravel.

Hahah its weird to see the same assets from SurrounDead in this game. Seems like a cool game. Somehow these Stalker EA games are the way to go. Tunguska, Zero Siever, SurrounDead and FarGone to name a few.

Now that I've seen it, it looks interesting & it's probably not a bad game from what I've read, the roblox-like character design is a big turn off for me. maybe it would grow on me. I also have a feeling that the microtransaction system is probably a big red flag I should listen to, if it was say a 60 dollar paid game or a WoW style subscription model with no microtransactions I might feel like trying it.

@@baconsoup8346 the microtransactions honestly arent bad, thats what surprised me most about it because i had the same mindset as you going into it. Often times when playing with my mate we'd comment to each other at just how bad the 'premium' subscription looked, its not expensive but it also provides tiny buffs and for a majority of the time i played it, i had premium without paying a cent as i got some premium tokens just from playing. the most p2w is definitely the events as you can just pay your way to the end of the battlepass, but honestly, its without a doubt one of the least p2w russian f2p games ive every played (looking at you war thunder...) The roblox/minecraft characters are pretty hilarious and definitely out of place but they have commented that they want to stick to it as stalcraft started as a minecraft stalker-esc mod, so they want to stay true to their origins. I havent played much of the new update but one of the main things i noticed was the new animations which look amazing, and elevate the previously horrendous running animation. If you have some spare time I'd definitely recommend it, but probably only if youre not from asia/oceania, because my god, are those servers dead, makes me really wish i wasnt in australia, so i could experience the game to the fullest

Yes I played the demos! It looks very promising too, and I completely approve the switch to Godot the dev made after the Unity debacle. Just waiting for a bit more content on it to do a preview!

I swear people play a version of this game i dont have access to, everytime i try to play it the AI fall through the floor, i get locked from using any weapons/open inventory etc and when i save and reload all enemies respawn on me. am I doing something wrong or are you guys just playing around these things?

You could try ADACA. It has a game mode Zone Patrol that is very Stalker-like with similar graphics as this FARGONE game.

If you want a change from first person, you can try tungushka the visitation. If you want soviet style turn based games, you can try atom rpg, atom rpg tudograd. And if you want to play an extremely old game, play you are empty.

I will at some point! The issue is that these series take months to record (basically I play until I get Invictus, or I get burned out) and I'm waiting for big patches / updates for the whoel thing to feel fresh. Maybe with GAMMA 1.0? :)

hmmmm, graphics aren't top notch, that being said, the only interesting thing is gameplay and the feel, actually looks quite nice overall.

It's an insanely common store asset pack. I avoid every game that uses it simply because I'm so tired of seeing the same 5 low poly character models.

It’s a little sad to care about graphics now honestly. Grew up thinking that battlefield 4 and 1 were the beats looking things ever, and now I mostly just play indies like these because AAA is basically for masochists who like buying crap and being corporate slaves.
