I just don't know what to say.. You captured everything that our sport is.. I felt the tears coming while I was watching this video.. Because every word is true about our sport.. The sport we call CHEERLEADING

What gets me is that people don't consider that cheerleaders have the LONGEST 'season' of any sport! Take your typical high school squad. They practice all summer, going to camps, etc then cheer thru football season, basketball season and playoffs if neccessary. When the ball teams are done, the cheerleaders keep on going. This is a beautiful video! Thanks!

I watch this before I go to tumbling practices on Wednesdays! I finally have my kartwheel tuck, standing tuck, toetouch tuck, round off tuck, doubletoe tuck, round off backhandpring tuck and my standing handspring tuck. I am so excited to be on JV this year! Probablymy biggest accomplishment!

I love this! This truly is what cheerleading is always about! Falling, eating mat, dropping a stunt, but recovering and coming back strong. EVERY cheerleader from every level, high school, college, and all star, can relate to this! We've all been through it! I love it!! :)

i didn't turn it up a lot but i still heard it a little and this video is so awesome because its true. in order to win u need to try ur hardest!!!and make sure u wont let the rest of ur team down. at times i will be in a stunt with not the best group and as im trying my hardest to stay up there, the tightest i can be, my group lets me down and doesn't care if i fall. i just hope that one day my team will reconize that they need to try there hardest and sometimes if u dnt, someone will get hurt

For those of you who don't know what happened at 1:13 Thats the Maryland Marlins Tsunami and she twisted or broke her ankle after her tumbling pass, got back up and fell again because she could stand on it. They eventually stopped the performance because she couldn't get up.

"Winning isn't a sometime thing; it's an all time thing. You don't win once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing" ~ Vince Lombardi

The amount of trust a flyer puts in her bases is crucial. It's crucial because she is trusting that your hands will catch her. Its way worse than falling for any "boy." She can get up from that. But she may not get back up if her bases aren't there. I am a base. Always have been. They call me "Superman" on my squad for the way I make sure the flyer never touches the ground. Because once she hits that floor... no stunt will ever go up the same. Take it serious when you stunt... its a RISK.
