Cheerwine turns 100

I remember when the Steelers won the super bowl we whet out and bought those giant Cheerwine slushies at "Gas and Go" as a celebration. Cheerwine was a huge part of my formative years and I will never stop loving it.

This makes me want to go back to Granite Quarry so bad. What's the name of that farmhouse shaped restaurant in Salisbury called? I hope it is still open, I think it had a green roof.

I remember hog killing time , my aunt and uncle would bring their son down to our house they wore their Sunday best. We did all the work but they was there to get some of the killing. My cousin would be drinking a cheerwine . We would be draining the hogs blood and I looked over I said that blood looked like cheerwine. He stop drinking cheerwine.

I've lived in NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, FL, NC, and I'm back in FL. 1 day I'll go back to Carolina. Friendliest people ever are there.
