Dairy products are a huge part of French food culture. Have you ever wondered how and where they're made? Let's go behind the scenes at a Beillevaire, a dairy producer of French butter, cheese, desserts and more in the Loire-Atlantique! We'll talk to some of the employees and learn about their jobs in France and the delicious food Beillevaire produces.

THANK YOU to the amazing Beillevaire team for showing me behind the scenes and letting me see first-hand the dedication of your employees. I had so much fun!

Thank you for this lovely tour! I think the French do an amazing job of utilizing technology and automation where possible, yet keeping hand-made what should be! It is nice that they continue with the local markets, despite being such a large company. It shows a respect for traditions, both national and corporate.

Cdt,

We like glass containers for yogurts in France, it seems more qualitative than in plastic containers (and it 's quite an habit to finish our meal with a yogurt since childhood). After using them, we recycle them at home.

@sebastiendine4834 3 жыл бұрын
As far as I know wearing plastic gloves isn't mandatory in France in those factories as long as you clean correctly your hands. Probably because the food is also later baked at high temperature killing all remaining germs. Wearing gloves is indeed critical/mandatory while dealing with raw food kept uncooked such as vegetables in sandwiches.

Came here for this comment.... even in the US gloves are not always used for food applications. GLOVES DO NOT MAKE HANDLING FOOD SAFER. READ THAT AGAIN AND AGAIN. As Americans we have to get over this unsanitary food handling habit. Washing your hands makes it sanitary.
