Love the video. Question? Why didn’t you remove the core be4 you covered the apple in chocolate? Looks delicious I’m going 2 try.
@YourSweetConnection3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I prefer this way because cutting the apples or removing the core before dipping them in chocolate is a lot more work than just doing it this way! If I removed the core then dipped my apples I would have to use 2 sticks to hold my apples to dip in the chocolate. That’s just too much work. This way is more easier.
@patricecaples4193 жыл бұрын
I love this Ro!!!! I do have a question. Do you use the same cleaning method as you would for candy apples? With the vinegar? If so do they still have to set overnight?
@YourSweetConnection3 жыл бұрын
Thank you before my cleaning message I do not add vinegar I just do the hot water boiling method and remove my apples for 6 to 10 seconds but when I dipping in chocolate I just clean and rinse my apples and dry them completely and then dip them in chocolate I don’t do any thing special for my apples when I’m dipping them in chocolate
@brittanyhardy3912 жыл бұрын
so question would it be easier to core the apple before you dip the apple
@YourSweetConnection2 жыл бұрын
Yes it would be easier but then you’ll have to figure out a way to dip your apple and getting a clean And full coverage of chocolate on your apple I prefer this way because it’s much easier

@YourSweetConnection3 жыл бұрын
Hello! 6.5 x 5.0 The 6.5 is the length and the 5.0 is the width and the width is important because this will allow the straw to fit over the stick

Great job I wish that would have included how to remove the wax from the apple though for the people. It will help the chocolate adhere better to the apple. That's my only critique.
@YourSweetConnection3 жыл бұрын
Thank you and normally I do explain that all the time in my videos. I have several Videos on Chocolate and Apples but I don’t remove the wax from my apples, I stop doing that years ago when I’ve perfected the science of melting chocolate and candy melts, because the wax really doesn’t need to be removed, it’s the temperature of the chocolate that will adhere to the apples. Check out a few of my videos on Chocolate Apples. Just forgot to mention it in this video, I’m human.
@e092319863 жыл бұрын
@@YourSweetConnection I'm impressed and I will check u out. Thank you.

Whats the temperature of the chocolate should be under 38
@e092319863 жыл бұрын
@@celestedelaine4937 not sure of your question, but your just melting the chocolate making it hot enough for you to dip apple's. Melt the chocolate in increments to make sure not to burn.
@labella92913 жыл бұрын
I'd core the apples first before dipping.
@YourSweetConnection3 жыл бұрын
Yeah that is an option and I used to do that as well but I find doing it this way is much better especially when it comes to dipping the chocolate. I’m very versatile and I like to give other options for people that are interested.🙂
@labella92913 жыл бұрын
@@YourSweetConnection No, of course. Sorry, I should have been sleeping instead of on youtube, I come across really brusk. That's all I meant, it was a different option for people interested in doing this to try. But my brain could only get out the basics. I lack social skills when I am half asleep, lol. My method would be to use mini tongs, and when they are in the open position they hold the apple pretty good for dipping. Just stick them in the core hole and allow to open. Something ELSE I just completely brushed over because rude sleep deprived brain, lol. It goes slower, because you can't stick them in a holder like you can with skewers... Which, I don't even think you did that, now that I' thinking about it. Which just goes to show how half asleep I was... But it allows for less handling of the covered apple if someone is worried about body heat melting and marking up the surface. That's the only thing different I'd do. Everything else? *chef's kiss* Absolute perfection!!! Which I SHOULD have said, because if someone is going to off a critique of any kind, it also should go hand in hand with a compliment. This isn't even to say there was anything wrong. There wasn't. Using tongs, coring first, then dipping, is just a different way. It's all semantics, what matters most is the end presentation and flavor/texture profiles.
